Judging by the travesty that was my bracket this year you might not want to know what I think about Saturday’s Final Four. Or, you might want to hear my take so that you can go and bet the exact opposite. Seriously, though, my bracket was a complete joke this year. I got two out of four Final Four teams, but my other two picks to make it that far didn’t even advance to the Sweet 16!

Now that you’ve been warned about my awful college basketball picking during the tournament here are my excellent Final Four predictions!

The latest lines I found at have Memphis listed as a 2.5-point favorite versus UCLA, while North Carolina is a 4-point chalk versus Kansas. Since I originally chose the Bruins as my national champions I have to stick with them and take them as a dog against the Tigers. The reason I believe in UCLA is Kevin Love. He’s a one-man wrecking crew and he’s just a freshman! To keep it short and sweet, to win the Tigers will have to stop Love. Tigers forward Joey Dorsey should give Love a challenge like he hasn’t faced so far in the Tournament, but in the end all you need is Love.   

In the other Final Four matchup I’m taking the Tar Heels at -4 over at . My bracket has UCLA vs. North Carolina in the final and even though the rest of my picks totally sucked that one’s going to actually happen. The terrific trio of Tyler Hansbrough, Wayne Ellington, and Ty Lawson will just be too much for Kansas to handle. I expect Hansbrough to just go off in this game, with Lawson right there feeding him all night long. Just like I predicted on Selection Sunday it will be UCLA and North Carolina in the final, with the Bruins taking home their first national championship since 1995.
