Judges Scores:
- 97-92
- 98-91
- 98-91
With a record of 7-1, Paul demonstrated superior endurance in his latest bout following a split-decision defeat against Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia in February. The judges scored the match in Paul’s favor, with scores of 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91.
In his pro boxing debut, 38-year-old Diaz delivered impactful strikes in the third round’s closing moments, momentarily unsettling Paul before the bell. Diaz maintained his offensive momentum in the fourth round, landing multiple jabs to the cheers of the largely pro-Diaz audience.
