Thurman Canceled – Up Fundora!

UPDATE:

Australian boxing sensation Tim Tszyu is set to go head-to-head with U.S. Sebastian Fundora instead of Thurman, in a match featuring two world championships and on the same date and venue. 

This comes in the wake of the cancellation of Tszyu’s fight in Las Vegas against Keith Thurman. Thurman, a former world titleholder, had to withdraw from the contest slated for March 31 (AEDT) due to an unexpected injury incurred during training. 

Following this, Premier Boxing Champions announced on Tuesday that Fundora, who was originally scheduled to fight in a preliminary bout, will now step up to challenge Tszyu in the event’s highlight match.

Note: Tszyu has been recommended to avoid Fundora: people call him ‘The Towering Inferno’ and is an all-action southpaw.

On March 30th, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas was set to host a boxing match in which Tim Tszyu steps into the ring against Sebastian Fundora.
