The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the silver Infiniti, later identified as Cori Clingman, 23, of Upper Marlboro, was traveling northbound on Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue in Prince George’s County.

Investigators believe Clingman attempted to change lanes while driving at a high rate of speed when she struck the Dodge Charger and then struck the Chevrolet Impala.

The Charger subsequently traveled off of the right side of the roadway and struck multiple tree stumps where the vehicle came to rest.

Jackson made NFL News in the 2024 draft when the Vikings beat out other NFL teams and used a fourth-round pick – 108th overall – to select the defensive back out of Oregon.

After a checkered early part of his college career, Jackson played for Alabama. Subsequently, he transferred to Oregon to continue his football journey.

He had excelled at Minnesota’s OTAs and the team had high hopes for him as a player in their secondary.

This marks the second time in recent years a Vikings draft pick who played defensive back did in an auto accident.

Jackson’s final post on Instragram added to the sorrow seeing how joyous he was.
