Spain Defeats France in UEFA: Teen Scores Dream Goal

The spanish national soccer team equaled the score on a goal by Yamal. That would be 16-year-old Yamal. He will turn 17 on Saturday, the day before the nation he represents plays for the UEFA Euro championship.

Spain Defeating France in UEFA wasn’t the only story, Yamal became the youngest player to score in Euros history. When not making international soccer news on the world scene, Yamal plays for Barcelona in La Liga. He is one of the best young soccer players in the world.

Another angle.

The reaction after the stunning shot and goal.

American women’s star Carli Lloyd was wowed, too.

A Dani Olmo right-foot shot turned into a goal that gave Spain the lead at 2-1 about four minutes later.

The goal was first considered an “own goal” but upon review given to Olmo. The tally was the third of the tournament for Spain’s star.

All this action took place in a furious first half of the semifinal in Munich.

Yamal has done just about everything now that he found the net for a goal. In a Euros semifinal no less. He managed to attract the ref’s attention late in the second half with a penalty that earned him a yellow card.
