Spain Defeats France in UEFA, Reaches Euros Final!
They will play for the Euros Championship on Sunday in Berlin after defeating France in UEFA semifinal victory on Tuesday! Goals by 16-year-old Lamine Yamal and tournament star Dani Olmo in the first half helped Spain overcome an early 1-nil deficit and post a 2-1 victory.
This will be the first UEFA final for Spain since 2012 when it crushed Italy 4-0. The first half saw flurries of action and the three goals. Once Spain Defeated France in UEFA, France was unable to net the equalizer. The loss has to sting as France had the lead only to see it evaporate. The scoring was opened by Kolo Muani.

Another angle.

The goal was first considered an “own goal” but upon review given to Olmo. The tally was the third of the tournament for Spain’s star.
All this action took place in a furious first half of the semifinal in Munich.
Yamal has done just about everything now that he found the net for a goal. In a Euros semifinal no less. He managed to attract the ref’s attention late in the second half with a penalty that earned him a yellow card.
The Championship Final Is on Sunday
It was his first of the tournament so he will be eligible to play on Sunday when the championship is at stake
Spain will play the winner of Wednesday’s Netherlands–England semifinal match. In soccer news, that semifinal will take place in Dortmund. Soccer odds likely will consider the match a tossup as the squads all are powerful and talented.
Spain is to be respected as it is the first country to win all six matches to gain the final.
