Merino Goal in 119th Minute Bounces Home Team in Quarterfinal
Spain is through to the Euro Cup 2024 semifinals off a 2-1 victory. In the dying seconds of extra time against Germany on Friday, Mikel Merino connected on a header from the center of the box to the left corner.

The winners will play the survivor of the Portugal-France match later on Friday. That UEFA Euro semifinal match will take place on Tuesday. Portugal-Spain is a rematch of the 2016 final.
