Queens Royals Basketball History

The Queens Royals basketball team represents Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.
The team has a long and storied history, having played for nine seasons in the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Conference before joining the NCAA Division I ASUN Conference on July 1, 2022, and becoming the newest member of the conference.
Despite being a relatively new Division I team, the Royals have already made a name for themselves with some impressive wins.
In their first season at the Division I level, the team scored a thrilling 83-82 victory over Marshall, with Kenny Dye leading the way with 24 points, including the go-ahead layup with just nine seconds remaining in the game.

Prior to their move to Division I, the Royals enjoyed significant success in Division II competition.
