The 68 Ventures Bowl (formerly known as the LendingTree Bowl) is another Division I NCAA prime college football event played as part of the postseason schedule in major college football. The game is played either at Ladd-Peebles Stadium or Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.Â
Why did the LendingTree Bowl change its name? The LendingTree Bowl changed its name due to a change in sponsorship. As of May 15, 2023, the bowl game is now named the “68 Ventures Bowl”, after its new sponsor, 68 Ventures, a Daphne-based business that manages development and construction projects.
This year’s event moves to Hancock Whitney Stadium, all the way to Alabama with a different name: 68 Ventures Bowl. It will be played on December 26 at 9:00pm ET.

Understanding the 68 Ventures Bowl Betting Odds
The 2021 LendingTree Bowl, as it was known in that year, featured the Liberty Flames and the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Given the Flames’ 8-5 season record against the Eagles’ 7-6 mark, Eastern Michigan was set on a -350 moneyline.
This implies that anyone that wagered at least $350 made a $100 profit off the Flames’ 56-20 win over the Eagles. On the other hand, those that bet on the Eagles to win on a +270 moneyline missed the chance to make a profit, since they could have recorded a $270 profit on every $100 wager.
In terms of the spread, those who bet on the +8.5 and the over 58.5 probably made solid earnings, thanks to the Flames winning over the Eagles.
