Ball State Cardinals – NCAAF History
Origins of the Ball State Cardinals
The Ball State Cardinals are a Division 1 FBS football team based in Muncie, Indiana. Founded in 1924, the team has an overall record of 421-381-32, ranking below the top 50 of most victories among NCAA FBS programs.
How the Pigskin Rolls
The Cardinals have won 11 conference titles, with their last title coming in 2020 with a win of the Mid-American Conference Championship game in a 38-28 victory over the Buffalo Bulls. Still, Ball State Cardinals stats can be a tad tricky as of today: the program has made nine college bowl game appearances, with their only win coming in the 2020 Arizona Bowl over San Jose State, by defeating the Spartans 34-14. This is how the pigskin rolls now for the Ball State Cardinals: 9 appearances and only one win, despite having had their last of eleven titles only two years ago.
