Gear Up for a Big Start to 2023
There are many boxing fights already scheduled for late 2023, but January features four top-line boxing future odds markets.
Boxing betting odds are available for the likes of Davis vs Hector Garcia, Eubank vs Smith, Beterbiev vs Yarde, and Davis vs Ryan Garcia.
There are some entertaining fights scheduled in between, including KSI vs Dillon Danis, which will generate big publicity.
Davis Fights Up in the Air
Two of the biggest fights in 2023 involve Gervonta Davis, but given recent events, they are in doubt to go ahead.
Davis has been accused of domestic violence, so his January 7 fight against Garcia could be in doubt. However, we expect the fight to go ahead for the WBA lightweight championship, where Davis is the -2000 favorite with boxing future odds.
The American has been one of the more dominant boxers in recent history, so he could have a big 2023 in the ring. He also faces Ryan Garcia in April, which is only four months after his first fight.
We don’t often see boxers taking fights so close together, so he’s on a mission, providing his out-of-ring troubles don’t put a hold on his career.
Rival boxer Devin Haney believes Hector Garcia has no chance of beating Davis.

“He’s a tuneup. I kicked him out of camp. He couldn’t last. I sparred him for the Jo Jo Diaz fight. I think I sparred him two times or three times. He just couldn’t keep up.” Haney said.
His boxing fight odds are short and will continue to be short against fighters of this level.
Beterbiev to Remain Unbeaten
We think Artur Beterbiev is the next big name in boxing and he’s already the second-ranked light heavyweight in the world.
Boxing future odds have Beterbiev at -1000 to beat Anthony Yarde and we think that’s excellent shopping for the Canadian-Russian fighter.
With 18 fights for 18 knockouts, Beterbiev is steamrolling through the opposition, including Joe Smith Jr, Marcus Browne, and Oleksandr Gvozdyk. That form is tough to overlook, and with his first 2023 fight being in January, he has plenty of time to schedule another big fight.
Dmitry Bivol is the man he could fight following Yarde, which would set up an almighty light heavyweight title fight.
“Of course, it’s a great fight. I would like to fight for his belts, and I know he wants to fight too. It’ll be a great fight. He’s a tough opponent,” said Bivol.
We’re hoping 2023 sees Bivol vs Beterbiev in the headlights and it would be tough to pick a winner.
YouTube vs MMA
We have seen many YouTubers fight in the ring, but there is something about KSI that makes it worth watching.
He fights Dillon Danis in January, who is an MMA fighter with a 2-0 record in Bellator. Both came by submission in the first round, so we have yet to see any boxing prowess, which plays into the hands of KSI.
These fights aren’t for everyone, but they generate huge viewing and betting numbers. It’s all setting up for KSI vs Logan Paul, which could happen later in 2023, and that would be massive.
There is good value to be made betting on YouTube fighters against second-rate MMA fighters. Look for KSI to score the victory and remain unbeaten.
