Boxing: Challenger Dominates Bryan vs Dubois Odds

A Title Change is Imminent

Trevor Bryan puts his WBA heavyweight title on the line against Daniel Dubois and Bryan vs Dubois odds are suggesting it will be an easy win for the challenger.

After having a chance to win two titles against Joe Joyce, Dubois is the -1200 favorite to win the title, however, Bryan cannot be overlooked as a 22-0 fighter, but this is by far his most difficult test.

It would be an upset of mammoth proportions but stranger things have happened in boxing.

Bryan Facing Tough Task

It’s tough to discount an undefeated American fighter but Bryan vs Dubois odds are also tough to ignore.

Bryan is a significant +650 underdog to retain his title, which we thought he was lucky to win in the first place.

We’re not knocking Bryan, but he’s been fighting average opponents and has only narrowly retained the belt. Despite being ranked outside the top 25 in his division, he defeated Jonathan Guidry by split decision to win the WBA heavyweight title, which was an upset result.

He needs to reproduce that effort but Dubois is a serious fighter who can put away his opponents in the blink of an eye.

The American has put in a lot of work, so he’s earned his stripes, but facing Dubois will be a much tougher test. Dubois is a rising British star who missed out on the more important world belts, so he’s hungry to avenge his loss.

Boxing fight betting odds aren’t giving Bryan much of a chance and he could rack up his first career loss.

Dubois Seeking Quick Knockout

We think Dubois is going head hunting on Saturday and it could be a quick knockout.

After his first loss, the 17-1 fighter fought back, and he could continue his comeback against Bryan. Dubois was knocked out by Joe Joyce, leaving him with a fractured eye socket. He could have won the WBO and WBC titles if he hadn’t been injured, so he’s making up for the lost time.

His wins since the loss, however, have been thrilling, and he’s a fighter with a bright future. Daniel Dubois knocked out Bogdan Dinu in the second round and Joe Cusumano lasted only one round with a TKO victory.

“I want to make a statement in devastating fashion. By any means necessary, but I’m looking to make a statement,” Dubois told Sky Sports.

“I’ve changed things up. We’ve made the necessary changes, so I’m all systems ready to go. Camp’s going well, and now it’s just the final touches. We’re ready now – it’s just time for the trip.”

Those who bet on boxing aren’t thrilled with the extremely short odds available but he’s -500 to win by knockout. We can’t see Bryan hanging around to the late rounds, so taking Dubois by knockout is the best bet.

Bryan vs Dubois odds are there for the taking and Dubois is on another level, so he could have easily been unbeaten and he has been facing more difficult opponents. It’s a title fight but it could be one of his easier recent fights.
