Navarrete to Become Two-Division Belt Holder vs Berinchyk

Navarrete vs Berinchyk Odds

Emanuel Navarrete is already the featherweight champion, and now he’s eyeing the vacant lightweight title against Denys Berinchyk on Saturday.

Navarrete vs Berinchyk odds have Navarrete at -700, so the 29-year-old Mexican is expected to prevail at Pechanga Arena in San Diego.

This weekend’s boxing schedule is stacked, and one of the highlights is Navarrete vs Berinchyk.

Unbeaten Run Continuing for Favorite

Navarrete hasn’t lost since early in his career, but it was a close-run thing against Robson Conceicao in November.

The featherweight title was almost lost, but he was also unlucky not to win outright. The fight ended in a majority draw, with one judge awarding him a 114-112 win.

However, despite the close call, it came in a different weight division, so it shouldn’t affect his confidence levels.

His boxing results have been excellent throughout his career, including wins over Oscar Valdez, Liam Wilson, and Joet Gonzalez.

Navarrete vs Berinchyk odds expect him to win, and he showed his confidence at the recent press conference. He believes his right hand will win him plenty of fights, according to the latest boxing news.

“We know that I have some deficiencies in my last fight. My hand did hurt, and that’s a fact, but that’s OK, some things held me back, but it’s OK. I am 100 percent now. And I am going to be like before, only a new Vaquero, and a new hand. With a more ferocious mentality, I am going to put myself in the best position at 135 pounds.” said Navarrete.

Bettors have every right to back Navarrete. The -700 odds are warranted, and he’s the man to beat.

Big Rise in Class for Berinchyk

This is a huge challenge for Denys Berinchyk, who hasn’t faced anyone close to the level of Navarrete.

The 36-year-old Ukrainian won his last three fights by unanimous decision, which doesn’t give us much confidence.

He is unlikely to have any big upcoming boxing fights unless he beats Navarrete, so the world number 13 has everything to gain.

He won the WBO International lightweight title against Anthony Yigit, but it was only a two-star fight. He rises to a four-star fight against a five-star opponent, so it could be too much for the +450 underdog.

He’s a sizable opponent in the width area, which is where Navarrete could struggle. However, Berinchyk’s lack of title fight experience will count against him, and Navarrete is used to fighting in the United States.

He has yet to fight in the US, but to his credit, he won in Poland last year, which wasn’t an easy task.

Berinchyk has also been fighting on the front line in the Ukraine war, so he’s tough as nails.

“[Navarrete] is a strong and experienced opponent, we are highly motivated and working hard to bring the title to Ukraine. The world can’t forget about our country’s struggle, so our victory in the ring is of great importance not just for my career and Ukrainian boxing, but also for the people of Ukraine.” Berinchyk said.

Class to Prevail with Favorite

It would bring joy to see Berinchyk win, but we’re going with our head over our hearts.

Navarrete is the class boxer in this matchup, and it’s hard to disagree with Navarrete vs Berinchyk odds.

Taking -700 isn’t ideal, but he’s well worth including in boxing parlays this week. He would be a great parlay bet with Oleksandr Usyk, who is the more famous Ukrainian fighter in action this week.

We can’t see a knockout happening, so over 10.5 rounds is a solid wager. It has been backed into -190, so most of the confidence has come for the fight to go the distance.
