Usyk vs Fury Highlights Epic Riyadh Boxing Card
The Usyk vs Fury Odds Have it as a Competitive Main Event

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury finally meet in Saudi Arabia for all the world heavyweight titles: the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC, and WBA belts. The Usyk vs Fury odds are finding it hard to split them, but it’s Fury at -120, as he looks to take the four titles from the Ukrainian.
The title fight headlines a massive card in Riyadh, including undercard highlight Joe Cordina vs Anthony Cacace.
Value with Usyk to Retain Titles
We are surprised by Usyk vs Fury odds as we would have had Usyk as the betting favorite. The 37-year-old has yet to suffer defeat from 21 fights, and his recent wins have come against top-quality opponents. The champion defeated Daniel Dubois with a ninth-round knockout last year, which followed wins over Anthony Joshua.
Usyk might have been tested against Joshua, who pushed him to a decision win in 2021. Then he won by a split decision in 2022. But he always looked in control. Joshua has proven to be a good yardstick in the European boxing scene, so bettors should use that as a form guide.
Fury has beaten aging fighters in Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte, Derek Chisora, and former MMA star Francis Ngannou. The Tyson Fury record of 34-0-1 looks fractionally better than it is.
His most recent win against Ngannou was close to embarrassing, and many believe he should have lost to the French fighter. Fury got sent to the canvas by Ngannou, and although Usyk doesn’t have as big of a right hand, it’s still worrying for the -120 favorite. He believes his size gives him an advantage.
“You can beat the average big ones but you can’t beat the elite big ones,” Fury said. “Size is what really matters and we have weight divisions for a reason. If Tyson Fury can’t beat Usyk, Tyson’s no good. End of. This is my time, my destiny, my era, and my generation. Facts.”
There is much better value with Usyk vs Fury odds for Usyk at even (+100) lines, so we’re including him with boxing betting odds for Saturday’s feature fight, and it could be the fight of the year.
Class Prevails for Cordina
Joe Cordina is the best British fighter in the featherweight division, and he puts his IBF title on the line against Cacace. Cordina is 17-0, and although he hasn’t faced the very best in the division, the 32-year-old has beaten everyone put in front of him.
The Briton comes off a majority decision win over Edward Vazquez, which followed his best win over Shavkadtzhon Rakhimov. The five-star fight was decided by a split decision. But Cordina sent Rakhimov to the canvas in the second round. One judge had Cordina losing 116-111, which was ridiculous. However, despite that controversy, he can defend his belt against Cacace, who is 21-1.
World boxing rankings have Cacace at 27th, so he shouldn’t pose much of a challenge for the champion. He’s a +375 underdog for a reason, and we’re firmly sticking with Cordina to win at -550. Bettors also get value odds for Cordina to win by KO or TKO, which is worth including in your boxing bets.
Opetaia’s Unbeaten Record Intact
We expect Jai Opetaia’s unbeaten record to remain that way when he faces Mairis Briedis. The Australian is 24-0 with 19 wins coming by knockout, and he’s in search of more in Riyadh. The 28-year-old has quickly risen in the cruiserweight division, and he’s now ranked third in the world. He hasn’t been fighting tough opponents, including Ellis Zorro in December, but it has been tough to find him opponents.
This is the rematch with Briedis, who lost his belt via decision in 2022. Opetaia won 116-112, 115-113, 116-112, so it was a close decision. However, Opetaia has improved since then, which is why he’s a -625 favorite to send Briedis packing.
The Aussie also has a -140 chance to win by KO and a +200 chance to win by decision. We favor him to win by decision as Briedis is good at avoiding the big blows.
Sanchez Rising the Ranks
Frank Sanchez fights Agit Kabayel, and he’s rising in the world boxing ranks. The 31-year-old Cuban is 24-0, and 17 of his wins have come by knockout, so he has plenty of power at his disposal.
This is his first proper test according to his latest boxing results, but he’s made his way to the top 10 in the heavyweight rankings, and that’s not easy to do. Sanchez is eyeing fights against much higher-rated opponents.
“I know I’m one of the best in division,” Sanchez said. “And I will be a champion when I receive that opportunity. I want to be the first heavyweight world champion from Cuba. It’s been frustrating not being able to face the top fighter in the division, but we are almost where we want to be.”
Kabayel is also 24-0 after the German scored a TKO win in December. He is fifth in the world, but the +165 underdog has yet to face someone with the power of Sanchez.
That’s why the sportsbook has an advantage for Sanchez, and we agree. The -200 favorite should have the edge, and he could end the night early for Kabayel on the Usyk vs Fury undercard.
