We’re Giving the OK to Back Okolie vs Rozanski
Briton Ready To Become a Two-Division Champ Per Rozanski vs Okolie Boxing Odds

One of the biggest fights this week is Lawrence Okolie vs Lukasz Rozanski for the WBC Bridgerweight title. Rozanski vs Okolie boxing odds have Okolie at -280 to win the belt, which was created in 2020.
Other boxing authorities do not recognize it. But it’s still a key fight on the boxing schedule.

First Big Fight for Charging Rozanski
Rozanski has yet to fight outside of Poland, but he again gets to fight at home against Lawrence. The 15-0 fighter, who owns 14 wins by knockout, is on a charge, and he’s good enough to win the title on Friday afternoon.
However, he has never faced anyone with the skills of Lawrence, which is why the Rozanski vs Okolie boxing odds have him as the +220 underdog. He comes off a TKO win over Alen Babic, who was 11-0. He scored the win in the first round, so it was a devastating victory for Rozanski.
It was his second consecutive first-round knockout, with the other coming against Artur Szpilka in 2021. However, with only two fights in the last three years, he could be lacking ring time.
Babic, who fought Rozanski, advised Lawrence to avoid fighting him.
“That’s why I said to Lawrence, don’t get into his fight. He’s going to run at you. He’s going to literally run across the ring for Okolie. Boxers, we are not used to that. I won 11 fights at the same thing. I have like five first-round knockouts,” Babic said.
Making Okolie chase him around the ring could work. Boxing results don’t care how you win, and being the smaller fighter can come with an advantage.

Okolie Seeks Second World Title
Lawrence is a former WBO Cruiserweight champion, having lost the belt to Chris Billam-Smith last year. The loss could have derailed his career, but we expect the 31-year-old British boxer to get back into the winners column. It’s all about your next boxing fight, and he has another chance to win some silverware on Friday.
Okolie is 19-1, and his best career victories include wins over Michal Cieslak and David Light. He hasn’t fought the very best in the world, but he’s a world-class fighter and that’s not being disputed.
He has a massive height advantage over Rozanski, and that’s reflected in Rozanski vs Okolie boxing odds. He’s the clear favorite for a reason, and his world title-experience could be too much for the challenger.
“I feel fantastic,” said Okolie. “It’s a completely different experience (making weight). I can’t wait for tomorrow.
“I know what he’s going to come with, we’ve seen it 15 times, he goes all out, I’ll show him he’s in there with a different animal.
“I’m looking forward to the boos and getting in there and getting it done vicious.”
He’s the deserving favorite based on his record. He might be the only fighter in this matchup with a loss on his record, but as we know in boxing, unbeaten records don’t mean much.
Okolie to Make KO Statement
Given his size advantage, and his boxing record, we’re backing Okolie to win by KO. We’re happy to take the -280 for him to win outright, which is a fair price with Rozanski vs Okolie boxing odds, but there is better value with boxing props. He is a -175 favorite to score a big KO or TKO win, and that’s worth including in boxing picks.
Okolie has the power advantage, and his experience fighting on the world stage counts for plenty against someone with no experience on the big stage.
Fighting in Poland makes it harder but we expect the British fighter to exert his class and pay bettors.
