Bayern vs Leverkusen Betting Game Overview.

Bayern vs Leverkusen is taking place very soon, however Bayern Munich are undeniably the best team in the German Bundesliga. They have dominated the league for many years, and are on the brink of winning their 10th straight title to add to their already boisterous collection. Undoubtedly, they are German giants, and a trip to the Allianz Arena is never pleasant.

The team currently leads the pack with eight points over Dortmund, the last team to win the league before Bayern’s domination. With 10 games left this season, Bayern seem to have sealed the title. However, after a shocking loss to VFL Bochum, there might just be a slim chance for another team to snatch it away.

Bayern, therefore, would want to take every game seriously, avoiding any more stumbles.

Bayer Leverkusen have not really posed a threat to Bayern since they did a back-to-back win in 2019. Since then, the team lost five matches to Bayern. However, we’d expect a fight from Leverkusen, trying to get some revenge for a 5-1 defeat in the first leg of the season.

Aside from looking for a win, Leverkusen would want to seal their spot in the top four. They currently sit in third place, four points above the two teams (Leipzig and Freiburg) in fourth, so there’s a chance to increase the lead to seven points.

Freiburg faces Leipzig, and Hoffenheim will play Koln, who are only four points off the European spots. As a result, Bayer 04 will hope to do the impossible and get something from the Arena.

Leverkusen are in a good position and in fine form, with only two losses in eight matches, though both came away from home. So, that can be a factor as they head to Munich to face the league leaders.

European football is back next week, and both teams are striving to stake a claim to one of the last eight spots. After failing to beat the Austrian side, Bayern Munich would be playing their round of 16 second leg match at home against Salzburg.

Bayer Leverkusen face Atalanta in the Europa League’s round of 16 first leg. So, they will want to get at least a draw when they travel to Bergamo. In that case, Gerardo Seoane has his work cut out for him.

With Patrik Schick and Karim Bellarabi out, Bayer are looking to be in for a tough couple of days. However, the caliber of players still available allows the club to be competitive both Saturday and Thursday. Gerardo might want to rotate a few things, ensuring his players are all fit for their journey to Atalanta.

It’s not surprising that Bayern are the clear favorite to win. The head-to-head between both teams suggest that Bayern’s victory is all but assured. However, Leverkusen are one of the top teams in the league so they will undoubtedly come to play.

Bayer Leverkusen also has Europe to worry about, and there’s a good chance that teams below them in the league would drop points. So, an early goal from Bayern Munich can undoubtedly put their hopes of winning to bed.

In that case, the spread of the match is justified, and there is an excellent chance that Bayern wins here handily.
