Bayern Munich ended a three-game draw streak as they got back in the win column on Matchday 19. The league leaders now hold a slim one-point lead over (in-form) Union Berlin, who take on RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga match of the week. The Bundesliga title race remains one to watch, as four teams are within five points of first place. We’ll take a look at those teams’ matches as we preview the Bundesliga Matchday 20 odds.

RB Leipzig vs Union Berlin

Marco Rose’s RB Leipzig are on a roll. They’re unbeaten in their last 12 Bundesliga matches and haven’t dropped a league game since September. They’ll host another side in excellent form when Union Berlin come to town on Saturday. Union Berlin are on a four-game winning streak and have scored twice in their last five matches, in all competitions. Interestingly, Union Berlin have won the last four Bundesliga meetings between these sides. Still, RB Leipzig enter the match as -135 ATS and moneyline favorites.
Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku has returned to training but is not in contention for the match. Creative midfielder Dani Olmo is also out for RB Leipzig, along with keeper Peter Gulacsi. Janis Blaswich has posted an excellent 7-4-1 record as starting GK this season, though. Union Berlin, who defeated Mainz 2-1 last weekend, show +115 odds to cover the ½-goal spread and win or draw. Union may also be a popular pick at +390 odds. They won the reverse fixture 2-1 last August as Jordan Pefok and Sheraldo Becker found the back of the net.
In seven previous Bundesliga meetings, these teams have never drawn; however, the Bundesliga betting odds price a draw at +270 odds here. Only two teams have scored more goals than fourth-placed RB Leipzig this season. Koln did shut Leipzig out in a scoreless draw on Matchday 19, though. Meanwhile, three or more goals have been scored in eight of Union’s last nine Bundesliga matches. This is expected to be a low scoring match, though, as under 2½ goals comes in at -125 odds.

Werder Bremen vs Borussia Dortmund

After SC Freiburg’s Kiliann Sildillia picked up a first half red card vs. Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, the floodgates opened. Dortmund smashed Freiburg by a 5-1 scoreline as five different players got on the scoresheet. One of those players was Sebastien Haller, who only just returned in January following a bout with cancer. Haller could play a key role on Saturday as Dortmund head to Werder Bremen and put their four-game winning streak on the line. Hosts Werder have won their last two matches but Dortmund come in as ½-goal favorites. Edin Terzic’s Dortmund sit at -125 ATS and moneyline odds.
At 4-1-5, Werder Bremen have a losing record at home this season. They’re priced at +105 odds to cover the spread and +290 odds to win vs. Dortmund for a second time this season. A draw also displays +320 odds. Werder Bremen have the current Bundesliga leading scorer, Niclas Fullkrug. The big striker has 13 goals in 18 matches thus far and scored twice at the World Cup. Notably, Werder Bremen have only kept one clean sheet at home this season. Meanwhile, Dortmund have averaged over three goals per game since the Bundesliga’s Winter break ended. Bayern Munich vs VfL Bochum

Since VfL Bochum returned to the Bundesliga in 2021, this has been an incredibly high-scoring fixture. So, this match is one bettors might want to circle on the Bundesliga games schedule. At least six goals have been scored in each of the three Bundesliga meetings since Bochum earned promotion. Earlier this season, Bayern decimated Bochum 7-0 and they won by the same scoreline in the first meeting of the 2021-22 season. Incredibly, Bochum pulled off a 4-2 upset at home in the 2021-22 season. With how many goals have been scored in this fixture, the over/under goals total is four for the match. Currently, under four goals comes in at -125 odds.
Impressively, relegation candidates Bochum have won three of their last five games and put five on Hoffenheim last weekend. Despite Joshua Kimmich’s red card, which will see him miss this match, Bayern defeated Wolfsburg 4-2 on Sunday. Hosts Bayern show -115 odds to cover the 2½-goal spread and -900 odds to win. Meanwhile, Bochum sit at +1700 odds to get their first road win at Bayern since 1991 and -105 odds to cover. A draw comes in at long +900 odds but Bayern have drawn three of their last five in the Bundesliga.
Koln vs Eintracht Frankfurt

In what’s expected to be the most competitive match of the weekend, Koln host Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bundesliga Matchday 20 odds list this match as a pick’em as both teams are on unbeaten runs. Koln, who have drawn their last three matches, show -105 odds to cover and +170 odds to win this match. Eintracht Frankfurt are unbeaten in their last seven Bundesliga games and sit at -115 odds to cover and +150 odds to win on the road. Frankfurt have been one of the best road teams in the league this season. They’ve compiled a record of four wins, four draws and just one defeat so far. Eintracht Frankfurt are winless in their last three meetings vs. Koln, though, with two draws and a loss. Another draw shows a +265 price for the match.
Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani has scored four times in his last three matches and has been one of the best players in the league this season. He leads the Bundesliga in assists, with 10, and goal contributions, with 19. The French forward found the net twice in the 3-0 win over Hertha last Saturday. Although Frankfurt are on a nine-game scoring streak, Koln have conceded just twice since the Bundesliga restart. That said, under three goals shows a -140 price.
