2023 Grammys Odds: Beyonce vs Adele for All The Marbles

Two of the Most Prolific Grammy Winners Headline Event

All-Time Greats Favored on the Grammys Odds

It’s a two-woman show for this year’s Grammy Awards if the 2023 Grammys odds are any indication. Beyonce leads all artists with nine followed by Kendrick Lamar with eight and Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven each. But by the grammy’s betting odds, Beyonce and Adele are expected to contend for the most prestigious categories including Album of the Year.

Beyonce and Adele Combine For 16 Nominations

While Beyonce has reached a new milestone for the Grammy Awards, Adele also has a chance to extend her record. The former tied her husband, Jay-Z, as the most nominated artist on this award show with 88. Adele, on the other hand, can further add to her record as the most successful non-American female artist as she adds to her 15 awards (18 nominations). The two are co-favorites odds to win Album of the Year at +150.

Additionally, Adele’s Easy on Me is also favored to win the Record of the year, and even Song of the Year. This is where she separates herself from Beyonce, whose song, Break My Soul, is distant in these categories.

Grammy Odds

Artist & SONGodds
Easy on Me (Adele)+100
Easy on me (Adele)+150
Break my Soul (Beyonce)(+550) +850
Renaissance (Beyonce)(+550) +850

Beyonce has the most nominations since 2010 when she was nominated for 10 awards. She went home with six Grammys. The 41-year-old songstress should also be favored to win more genre-specific awards like Best R&B Song for Cuff It and Best Dance/Electronic album with Renaissance.

Adele also returns to the Grammys after a six-year hiatus. But back in 2017, the Briton dominated the Grammys and swept all her nominations winning all five awards including Song of the Year and Record of the Year with Hello and Album of the Year with 25. The 2023 Grammys odds give her one of the best chances at accomplishing a similar feat this year.

Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny are Others to Watch

In between Beyonce and Adele is Harry Styles. The English singer’s third album, Harry’s House, has received critical acclaim on top of breaking several records. At +250 to win Album of the Year, we can consider Styles as a dark horse to win some hardware in these music awards betting odds. His song As It Was is also at short odds to win Record of the Year (+150) and Song of the Year (+300).

Lamar has the most nominations among male artists. He is often lauded as the best hip-hop artist of his era. Three of his albums were included in Rolling Stone’s 2020 list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. His latest album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, is a concept album that is universally praised. But against the aforementioned artists, it sits fourth on the Album of the Year odds at +650.

Bad Bunny is also making history. His album, Un Verano Sin Ti, is the first Spanish-language album to be nominated for Album of the Year. It sits at 15-1 to win, which makes it a longshot at best. But the fast-rising music star is already breaking ground with this nomination.

Grammy Odds

Artist & Albumodds
Harry’s House (Harry Styles)+250
Records & Song (Harry Styles)+150
Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (Kendrick Lamar)(+550) +850
Un verano sin Ti (Bad Bunny)(+550) +850

Latto, A Runaway Favorite For Best New Artist

While there is room for surprises with the awards and artists above, the Best New Artist category seems to have been all decided. Latto, listed at -160 on the 2023 Grammys odds should bring home the award. The 24-year-old rapper first broke into the mainstream in 2016 as part of Jermaine Dupree’s reality TV show,The Rap Game.

Since then, Latto reached new levels of success thanks to the success of her hit single Big Energy. She’s also been nominated as the Top Rap Female Artist for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards and won the BET Award for Best New Artist. The -160 indicates she has roughly a 61.5 percent chance of winning.

For folks betting on entertainment looking for an upset, Anitta at +500 is the distant runner-up on the odds. The Brazilian music artist has been slaying it in her native Latin America for a decade but recently caught mainstream North American attention with her album Versions of Me
