EPL Week 37 Fixtures, Odds: Season On the Line, Now or Never
Arsenal Screws The Pooch, Again!

Man City One Win Away From EPL Title
A wild Premier League title race is nearing an end as Manchester City are just one win away from being crowned champions for a third straight season. City, who just qualified for the Champions League final with a resounding 4-0 win over Real Madrid, can win the title on Sunday at the Etihad vs. Chelsea. Most teams have just two matches to go and we’ll also take a look at some of the other important EPL Week 37 fixtures.
Liverpool continue their fight for the Champions League as they take on an upstart Aston Villa. Meanwhile relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest take on Arsenal as Newcastle host 19th-placed Leicester City. Let’s run through the EPL odds for a potentially decisive weekend in the Premier League.
Games of the Week
Liverpool will go for eight wins in a row in the Premier League when they host Aston Villa on Saturday in one of the most important EPL Week 37 fixtures. The Reds are coming off a 3-0 win over Leicester City in which midfielder Curtis Jones scored twice.
Liverpool are just one point behind Manchester United for the fourth and final Champions League berth but they’ve played one more match than Man U. While Liverpool have been in excellent form, Aston Villa have also excelled lately under Unai Emery.
Villa defeated Tottenham 2-1 on Matchday 36 and are also in the running for a European place. With the win, they went level on points with seventh-placed Tottenham but are behind them on goal difference. Liverpool enter Saturday’s match at Anfield as one-goal favorites and show -130 odds to cover the spread.
Villa, on the other hand, are +110 ATS underdogs and +455 moneyline underdogs. Liverpool have put together the second-best home record in the league this season, at 13-4-1. At the same time, Villa are winless in their last three road games.
While Philippe Coutinho has been dealing with injury problems for a large part of the season for Villa, Liverpool have a few players out. Midfielders Naby Keita and Thiago Alcantara look set to miss this one, while forwards Roberto Firmino and Darwin Nunez are doubts.
On their winning streak, Liverpool have scored nearly three goals per game and are -200 moneyline favorites. Over three goals show -120 odds here but Villa have conceded just four times in their last five games. A draw also displays +400 odds in this match with European implications.
Nottingham Forest are still not in the clear but a result vs. Arsenal would go a long way on Saturday. Forest, currently in 16th place, are just three points ahead of 18th-placed Leeds United, who would be relegated if the season ended today.
Forest have picked up a draw and a win in their last two matches, while Arsenal are reeling from a 3-0 defeat vs. Brighton. Even though Arsenal can technically still win the EPL title, it would take two wins and for Man City to drop points in all of their last three.
Arsenal smashed Forest 5-0 when these two sides met last October but have faltered in the last few weeks. In fact, they’ve won just two of their last seven matches as they effectively handed Manchester City the EPL trophy. Still, Mikel Arteta’s men would like to closer out their remaining EPL schedule on a high note.
Arsenal are one-goal road favorites for this match but all of Oleksandr Zinchenko, William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli could miss out. If none of the three injured players can play, expect Kieran Tierney, Jakub Kiwior and Leandro Trossard to take their places, respectively. Regardless, both Arsenal -1 and Nottingham Forest +1 show -110 odds for Saturday’s match.
Forest have won their last two home matches, and scored seven goals in the process, but are +430 underdogs here. Arsenal have not lost two EPL matches in a row all season and come in as -180 favorites.
The last ten times these EPL teams have met, dating back to 1996, there has been a winner but a draw displays +360 odds. Both sides have also conceded over two goals per game in their last five matches, but under three goals sit at -115 odds.
In undoubtedly the most important EPL Week 37 fixture, leaders Manchester City host struggling Chelsea. Again, all Manchester City need to do to win the Premier League title is defeat Chelsea. City looked unstoppable on Wednesday vs. Real Madrid and scored four unanswered goals.
Bernardo Silva scored twice in the second half as Manuel Akanji and Julian Alvarez added insurance goals. City are on course for a treble this season and are 1.5-goal favorites for Sunday’s game.
The Cityzens come in at -130 odds to cover the spread and hold an 11-game winning streak in the Premier League. Since losing to Chelsea 1-0 in the 2021 Champions League final, City are 5-0 in their last five matches vs. the Blues. Pep Guardiola’s City have kept shutouts in all of those matches.
This season alone, City have outscored Chelsea 7-0 and defeated them in the EPL, FA Cup and EFL Cup. So, it’s no surprise that Manchester City are -375 favorites to go on to win this match and a third straight Premier League title this weekend. Meanwhile, Chelsea have won just one of their last 11 matches, in all competitions.
The Blues drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest last weekend and Chelsea +1.5 shows +110 odds here. They’ve also won on just one of their last seven trips to the Etihad Stadium and are +950 underdogs. Chelsea have a bunch of first team EPL players injured too and have nothing but pride to play for in their last few games. A draw, which still keeps City on track to win the title, comes in at +525 odds. Meanwhile, over three goals display -120 odds for this potentially decisive match.
After an abysmal season, 2015-16 Premier League champions Leicester City are at serious risk of going down to the Championship. Newcastle United, on the other hand, are on course to make the Champions League but are in a tight race with Manchester United and Liverpool.
Both teams will be aggressively seeking all three points when they meet next Monday. Leicester are currently in 19th place and have won just one of their last 14 EPL matches. A win here could potentially get them out of the relegation zone but it depends on how Everton and Leeds United do this weekend.
Before hosting Leicester on Monday, the Magpies also take on Brighton on Thursday in a key match for European placing. With six goals in his last four games, Newcastle’s Callum Wilson is one of the most in form players in the EPL. He’s also in fifth place on the Premier League stats heet, with 17 goals this season.
He could play a key role in both of Newcastle’s matches in the coming days. Reflecting the fact that St James’ Park is an incredibly tough place to play at, hosts Newcastle are 1.5-goal favorites. The Magpies show +105 ATS and -250 moneyline odds. Leicester +1.5 sits at -125 odds but they are +575 underdogs. They’ve also lost their last three matches vs. Newcastle.
Leicester City have also been conceding in bunches lately and haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last 21 matches. Plus, defender Caglar Soyuncu looks to be out until next week with a hamstring injury.
With Leicester allowing 2.4 goals per game in their last five matches, over three goals display -125 odds for this one. A draw is better than nothing for Leicester but a win would be much better for their survival hopes. Regardless, a draw is priced at +445 odds for Monday’s match.
