Key CDL Stage 3 Qualifier Matchups – Week 1
The opening week can set the bar for every team. That first match will help build momentum into the CDL Stage 3 Major, or it can hurt teams already putting themselves in the hole. So, every esports bettor should watch these three critical matchups for week one of the CDL Stage 3 qualifiers.
Here are the matchups and esports betting tips for each one:
Toronto Ultra (-189) vs. Boston Breach (+137)
Toronto and Boston finished below the top four teams in the Boston Major. Either team can make a run to the Arlington Major, but they must start strong. According to the bookies, this match could go either way as their betting odds are close. Boston would be the better bet at +137.
OpTic Texas (-227) vs. LA Guerrillas (+162)
LA Guerrillas has a disappointing Boston Major but will look to turn that around in the CDL Stage 3 qualifiers. Their odds against an OpTic team that made the semifinal seem favorable at +162, but OpTic is the better team. They can pull the upset, but it would be a surprise.
Atlanta FaZe (-204) vs. LA Thieves (+184)
A rematch of the Boston Major final looms for Atlanta and LA. Atlanta FaZe got the win after a close match against the Thieves. While their betting odds are not as close as you would expect, the matchup is one of the best of the tournament. Betting on LA Thieves would be wise as they seek revenge for the final.
