CDL Stage 5 Major Odds and Preview: Last Chance to Qualify for CDL Championships!

The Ultimate Qualification Battle for CDL Championships!

The fifth and final Major of the 2023 Call of Duty League season is nearly here! The CDL Stage 5 Major starts next weekend, and teams are gearing up and ready to get all the points they can before the CDL Championships begin later this summer. So while there is still one round of qualifying matches to be played, we thought we’d get a head start on everything there is to the CDL Stage 5 Major!

There are five Majors throughout this CDL season, and after it’s set and done, we will be able to determine who will be at the CDL Championships. The teams who have thus far failed to make an impact will need to pull off a miracle to achieve their aim of reaching playoffs, and those at the top are ensuring they have as high a seeding as possible.

Can Atlanta FaZe regain control and come out on top, or will OpTic Texas keep clearing out their opponents? First, let’s see what the bookies say about their esports odds.

Top Teams to Watch at the CDL Stage 5 Major

Everyone will be talking about FaZe and OpTic at the top of the table, but that is cause they always win it. However, two teams could cause some problems for them and can make a push for those last points for the CDL Championship. Those two teams are Seattle Surge and Toronto Ultra.

Seattle Surge

The Seattle Surge has been on an upward trajectory for the last year. Last year they won two Majors and placed third in the CDL Playoffs, just losing out to FaZe. This year, they find themselves near the top end of the table and, after a rough start to Stage 5 qualifiers, will look to make one last push to make it in. Betting on Seattle Surge at +500 could be a steal.

Toronto Ultra

Besides Atlanta FaZe, Toronto Ultra has been one of the best CDL teams in the world since 2020. They are regularly in the top three in every Major they play in. They have fallen off a bit since the rise of OpTic Texas, but that does not mean you can count them out. Like Seattle, betting on Toronto at +500 will be considered a steal.
