Participating Teams
Six teams qualified for IEM Dallas 2023 Playoffs after a thrilling Group Stage that saw Team Liquid and Cloud9 fall thanks to underdogs ENCE and the resurging Astralis.
The six teams are split based on their place in their respective groups. Group A saw Heroic take the top spot, with G2 Esports in second and MOUZ in third.
In Group B, ENCE and Astralis made a surprising run in the upper bracket to secure first and second, respectively. However, faZe Clan clawed back from the lower bracket to qualify for the playoff rounds.

IEM Dallas 2023 Playoffs Schedule and Format
Astralis, MOUZ, G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, Heroic, and ENCE made it to the IEM Dallas 2023 Playoffs. The six teams were placed by how they performed in the Group Stage. Heroic and ENCE took the top spots in their groups and will move automatically to the semifinals.

Top Team to Watch at IEM Dallas 2023 Playoffs
Everything seems to be going perfectly for Astralis – dev1ce looks among the best players in the world once again.
The team’s top gun looks like he was never gone after his hiatus last year. IGL gla1ve has been in the lab cooking up some new strats, and he looks rejuvenated and ready to compete at the top, where he belongs.
Removing a legend like Xyp9x in favor of academy prospect Altekz was a massive risk, but it immediately paid off. Altekz belongs with some of the best players, frequently winning out duels with much more experienced pros.
Question marks still loom over Buzz. However, if he can become more consistent, he’ll be part of the solution rather than the problem.
Their route to the Playoffs was challenging, too. Astralis had to beat both Liquid and Cloud9, arguably two of the better teams at IEM Dallas 2023. They weren’t particularly close victories either – Astralis has looked dominant on every map.
