Backing Bryson to Beat Elite Field at LIV Houston
2024 LIV Houston Odds

For the first time since joining the LIV Tour, Jon Rahm isn’t the solo favorite to win a tournament.
The Spaniard is an equal favorite with 2024 LIV Houston odds alongside Bryson DeChambeau, our top pick to win.
He’s a prolific winner on the tour, and we expect to see his name at the top of the golf leaderboard.
DeChambeau is Revitalizing Golf
30-year-old DeChambeau has become one of the most popular players in the world, and it’s paying off.
Despite moving to the LIV Tour, which comes with a lot of negativity, most golf fans subscribe to what he offers.
The big-hitting golfer is a +800 chance with golf betting markets to win LIV Houston, and after his impressive performance at the PGA Championship, we’re not surprised.
He finished one stroke behind Xander Schauffele when shooting -20, and he went down fighting.
His recent YouTube videos have attracted plenty of attention, and it’s clear that he’s having more fun away from the PGA Tour.
There are no PGA Tour players who seem like they’re having fun, so it’s good to see DeChambeau come out of his shell.
He’s the form player of the tournament, and the 2024 LIV Houston odds are right to have him at the top.
Backing Rahm for Overdue Win
We have backed Rahm in every LIV event, and although he has been close, he has yet to win.
He has yet to finish outside the top 10 on his LIV golf schedule, so that’s an impressive feat, and it’s only a matter of time before he wins.
Our only worry in his recent finish at the PGA Championship. He missed the cut when shooting -1, which was a terrible score for how easily Vahalla played that week.
The 29-year-old has been off his game since the move, which also shocked PGA Tour player director Joe Ogilvie.
“It was certainly shocking,” said Ogilvie, who is on the board of the new commercially-driven PGA Tour Enterprises. ”It was a negotiating tactic to take a player like Jon, and for Jon to go. That was definitely a shot across the bow.”
Getting +800 for Rahm is good shopping. He was around +400 when he first arrived on tour, so it’s fair price, and he’s bound to win given his golf schedule sooner rather than later.
Frustrated Niemann Seeking Victory
Joaquin Niemann has been one of the best LIV players this season, but his lack of results at The Masters and PGA Championship has seen his ranking slip.
Therefore, he didn’t automatically qualify for the U.S. Open, and he failed to qualify at the regional qualifiers, so he’ll need an exemption to get in.
We have no doubt he’ll be frustrated, but he needs to start performing better on the world stage.
However, for the purposes of making money at LIV Houston, we’re happy to back him at +1000 with 2024 LIV Houston odds.
He is having a tremendous year on the tour with multiple victories, and he could beat some of the world’s best players in Texas.
The odds are generous enough to snap up, and he should be right in the thick of the action on Saturday.
Surging Sergio Worth the Odds
2024 has been a resurgent year for Sergio Garcia, and we’re happy to include the Spaniard in our selections.
He was unlucky not to win earlier in the year, and the 2017 Masters winner is playing with a lot of confidence.
Garcia is the only player on the LIV Tour to have lost three titles in a playoff. He lost the 2023 Singapore, 2024 Mayakoba, and Miami titles in a playoff to Talor Gooch, Niemann, and Dean Burmester, respectively.
The 44-year-old has solid betting support at +2200, and he’s another player who is seemingly enjoying their life away from the PGA Tour.
He also owns the most Ryder Cup points of any European player, and he hopes to get picked.
“I look at it two ways. If I’m not able to play anymore it’ll be a little bit sad,” Garcia said. “But at the same time, I look at it that I’ve played many, many times. I’ve been successful in it both individually and as a team. So that’s what I take from it.”
