Don’t Look Now! Amateur Clanton Tops PGA Tour Odds
2024 ISCO Championship Odds

We can’t remember the last time an amateur headlined a PGA Tour betting market, but Luke Clanton is the man this week.
The amateur is the +1100 favorite to win with 2024 ISCO Championship odds, and although the best players are in Scotland, it’s still amazing to see.
Michael Thorbjornsen, Daniel Berger, and Neal Shipley, who are paying generous odds, are looking to beat the favorite.
Can Clanton Pull It Off?
The incredible run for Clanton continues, and he’s the tournament favorite with betting on golf markets.
The 20-year-old finished T41 at the U.S. Open before finished T10 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic and T2 at the John Deere Classic.
Being a PGA Tour tournament favorite at just your fourth career start, and being an amateur, is unheard of.
He was pleased with his performance last week, which earned him no money, but plenty of respect.
“We came into the week with pretty high expectations,” Clanton said. “I think I kind of reached that expectation for sure. Of course, you want to win. But again, to do what I did out there today was awesome. It’s just a blessing to be here, man.
“It’s unreal to make a birdie on the last hole and do all that.”
Winning tournaments at the professional level isn’t easy. It’s about the weakest PGA Tour field you’ll ever see, but he still needs to beat good players.
His 2024 ISCO Championship odds of +1100 are short, but he’s worth following for the storylines.

Thorbjornsen Has a Bright Future
Much like Clanton, 22-year-old professional Michael Thorbjornsen is a player for the future.
The Stanford educated golfer looks to follow in the footsteps of former alumni Tiger Woods, and he looks to have plenty of ability.
He finished T2 alongside Clanton last week at the John Deere Classic, which is the best form guide for this tournament.
It was a good bounce back having missed the cut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, but he’ll only get better with more time on the PGA Tour.
His golf rankings will improve under these circumstances, which will earn him spots in the signature events in the future.
He’s on the second line of betting at +1400, which is a fair price, and he’s the only golfer besides Clanton that bettors want in early betting markets.
Never Too Late for Young
Carson Young also played well at the John Deere Classic when finishing T5 on the golf leaderboard.
He’s a late maturing 29-year-old, who earned his PGA Tour status via the Kornferry Tour, and this event resembles a Kornferry Tour field.
That means he has every chance to win, and he has been right around the mark at times this season.
He finished T14 at the Canadian Open, and numerous other solid finishes after making the cut.
He has turned his form around from missing three consecutive cuts earlier this year, and his 2024 ISCO Championship odds of +3300 are worth taking.
Money has come for the American following a career-best finish, so he’s worth including in selections.
Streelman to Turn Back Time
Kevin Streelman brings plenty of experience to the ISCO Championship, and that could make the difference.
The 45-year-old is a two-time PGA Tour winner, and although his most recent win came in 2014, he continues to keep his card.
He won the 2013 Tampa Bay Championship when beating Boo Weekly before winning the 2014 Travelers Championship over K.J. Choi and Sergio Garcia.
It has been a long time between drinks, but the former Duke player still has enough ability to beat this field.
He’s not as long as the young players, but he can shoot low numbers. Streelman is a +8000 chance, so a small wager could return a big profit.
We have seen much bigger upsets than Streelman winning, so look for him to get off to a fast start. He’s usually near the top of the leaderboard after the first round, and bettors could also find value in first round leader markets.
He’s a +8000 chance to lead after Round 1, so back that option for some added value at the ISCO Championship.
