Golf: Finau Tops PGA 3M Open Odds

He needs to ward off 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama and many other classy golfers but this could be his tournament to lose.

Jason Day hasn’t had much luck with injuries over the past few years but the Australian could get inspiration from countryman Cam Smith winning the Open Championship.

Day’s career has suffered as a result of back issues. He still plays golf with class and commands respect, so he can’t be discounted from winning the 3M Open.

The Australian hopes to win for Australia and continue Cameron Smith’s heroics. He has won 12 times on the PGA Tour, making him the most accomplished player on the field. His current PGA betting odds of +5500 should not be disregarded and there is value in his price.

Day has every incentive to perform well at the 3M Open and a solid showing would put Day in a position to qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs, even though there is plenty of water remaining under the bridge.
