Johnson Headlines LIV Golf Tucson Event

The LIV Heads to Tucson

The LIV Golf Tucson event is set to make headlines and it could be former world number one Dustin Johnson leading the way.

LIV Golf betting has Australia’s Cameron Smith at the top of betting markets, but Johnson is lurking and seeking another win on the tour.

4 Aces Captain Leading the Way

Johnson is a player to watch out for, despite not being the favorite with Golf Tucson event markets.

Johnson is still one of the best golfers in the world and leads the 4 Aces team, which has had an incredible amount of success. He recently starred in an episode of Full Swing, where he discussed his decision to join LIV and the benefits that come with it.

“The decision to join LIV finally just came down to the offer that they made me,” Johnson said in the episode. “For me, it was playing less, making more money. Pretty simple. If someone offered anyone a job, doing the same thing they’re already doing, but less time at the office and they’re going to pay them more, pretty sure you’re going to take it. And something is wrong with you if you didn’t.”

With golf odds this week of +1000 to win, Johnson is a great pick for those looking to bet on the LIV tournament.

Gooch with the Goods

Talor Gooch, who is still inside the top 50 in the world despite being a one-time PGA Tour winner, is a player who could have a big impact this week.

Gooch has struggled to meet his high standards so far this season, but he showed better form at the Mayakoba event, where he led with one round to go. Although he wasn’t able to hold on for the win, his performance should give him the confidence needed to win in the golf Tucson event.

The +1600 odds for Gooch to win are a good price given his top-end form, which could return.

He was one of the big signings when the LIV first started, so he could repay his loyal followers with a victory.

Chasing Koepka

We’re talking about Brooks, not his brother Chase, but we couldn’t resist a catchy headline.

Brooks Koepka is a risky wager, but the odds are just too good to ignore. Although he is nowhere near his best, the four-time major winner still has plenty to give on the golf course.

Despite some niggling injuries, Koepka could surprise a few at Tucson and make an impression on the field. He has yet to win on the LIV Tour, but the 32-year-old should be eyeing a win in 2023.

Chasing majors is still at the forefront of Koepka’s mind, despite slipping outside of the top 100. He understands the importance of majors in golf and wants to add to his already impressive resume.

Koepka is paying +3000 to win, which makes him an attractive pick for those who want to take a chance on a player with a lot of potential.

He might not be the most likable guy in golf tournaments, but he has more talent in one arm than many PGA Tour golf players have in both.
