Keeping the Faith with Schauffele at RBC
2024 RBC Heritage Odds Have Scheffler at the Top

Masters champion Scottie Scheffler headlines 2024 RBC Heritage odds on the PGA Tour this week. It could be a busy week for the expecting father, who needs to measure himself following his epic win at Augusta National. Therefore, this opens the door for someone like Xander Schauffele to score a long-overdue win.
It’s Time for Schauffele
It’s hard to be mad with Schauffele, who produced another fine effort at The Masters. However, we’re getting sick of seeing him not win tournaments. The eight-time PGA Tour winner continues to finish in the top 10, but slow starts put him on the back foot from the outset. That needs to change if he’s to justify his +1200 odds with golf betting markets.
We think he’s one of the best golf players on the planet, but the 30-year-old has yet to win a major, and he’s quickly becoming the best player to have never won one. That can’t change this week at the RBC Heritage, but he could get some much-needed confidence. He shot +1 on Sunday to finish eighth at Augusta, but he’s right there and ready to succeed.
His 2024 RBC Heritage odds are worth entertaining, and he could cash for loyal bettors.
Scottie Too Hottie
There is no better golfer in the world than Scottie Scheffler, who won his second Masters last week. The American makes his dough in April, and it’s a good thing there are still two weeks left in the month. He has yet to win past April in a calendar year. But surely that will change in 2024.
Whatever the case, Scheffler has the shortest odds at +450 favorite despite distractions off the course. We’re surprised he’s playing this week but he likely has sponsor commitments to the signature tournament.
It’s also a strange time to have a signature tournament, but the best on the PGA Tour have to back up a week after a grueling Masters tournament. We don’t put it past Scheffler, who continues to defy the odds. His PGA golf scores have been off the charts over the last three months, so we’re not betting against him.
Aberg Living Up to Hype
Ludvig Aberg is here to stay, and he proved that when finishing runner-up to Scheffler at The Masters. The young Swede is already a one-time PGA Tour and two-time European Tour winner, so he has winning experience. Finishing second at Augusta in his first look at the course is remarkable, and he’s only finding his feet on the PGA Tour.
There is plenty of respect with 2024 RBC Heritage odds, and we can’t leave him off our tickets at +1400. His odds have firmed nicely throughout the week, and he’s now shorter than Rory McIlroy. It won’t take long until Aberg secures another victory, so he’s worth following consistently.
Encouraging Signs for Morikawa
It took only one bad drive to end Collin Morikawa’s Masters hopes, but he could bounce back with a win at the RBC Heritage.
“Greed got the best of me,” Morikawa said. “Nine, can’t miss it over there and can’t leave it in the bunker. 11, just tried to hit too perfect of a shot. It’s not like at that point I was trying to press. I knew where I stood. Yeah, just can’t do that. In the past I haven’t done it, but kind of where the game’s at.”
He has had a light PGA schedule in 2024, which could work in his favor this week against the best players in the world.
Known as one of the best ball strikers on tour, Morikawa looks to keep his run going with a win at +1800 odds. He was around the +2200 mark before money came for the two-time major winner, who is close to scoring his first win in 2024.
Chase Theory for Young
Cameron Young is too talented to have not won on the PGA Tour, and he’s another player coming off a good Masters. The 26-year-old often plays well in majors, where he earned most of his money. However, the elusive PGA Tour win awaits.
We’re happy to apply the chase theory for Young, who should win a tournament in 2024, and the +3000 odds are worth taking. There has been solid betting support for Young, so grab the golf odds before they shorten.
