Koepka Tops LIV, Headlines Props at Pinehurst
2024 PGA U.S. Open Props

We love betting on 2024 PGA U.S. Open props, including which LIV player will finish best, first round leader, and many more.
The U.S. Open at Pinehurst promises to deliver, and with Scottie Scheffler being such a short-priced favorite, we’re looking elsewhere for value.
The U.S. Open schedule kicks off on Thursday with the first round, so get in quick.
Brash Brooks Always a Major Threat
One of the best golfers to back in majors is Brooks Koepka, who is already a five-time major winner.
The 34-year-old won the U.S. Open in 2017 and 2018, and his win in 2017 came by four strokes over Brian Harman and Hideki Matsuyama.
The American didn’t justify his PGA Championship odds a few weeks back, but he should rebound with a big effort at Pinehurst, which is a course that suits him.
He’s on the second line of betting to beat his fellow LIV players, and the +375 odds are too good to pass up.
Bryson DeChambeau is the current +335 favorite with 2024 PGA U.S. Open props, and he’s playing in good form following his second placing at the PGA Championship.
However, Koepka has shown excellent consistency in the majors throughout his career, and we’re backing him to beat the likes of DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, and Jon Rahm.
McIlroy’s Best Chances Come Early
We don’t rate Rory McIlroy when he has to come from behind, so he could fire up in the first round.
The Northern Irishman, who hasn’t won a major since 2014, is overdue a victory, and we’re backing him to fire up on Thursday.
The PGA leaderboard could see McIlroy lead after the first round, and bettors get a healthy +2200, with Scheffler at +1100 to start best.
McIlroy didn’t fire last week at The Memorial, and tournament host Jack Nicklaus had some words about McIlroy’s game.
“Well, it’s been a while for him, but I’m a big Rory fan. I’ve been a big Rory fan for a long time,” Nicklaus said. “He’s a good guy, and he’s a wonderful player, he’s got a great golf swing, plays a lot of great shots, and I don’t know where he loses it at times. But, you know, he seems to not be able to focus all the way around.”
To cash this wager, McIlroy doesn’t need to focus the entire tournament. He only needs to come out firing for bettors to lock in a massive profit on the first day of play.
Big Guns vs the Field
Bettors get value odds for Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, McIlroy, and Collin Morikawa to win.
They are the big four of the U.S. Open according to the sportsbook, and we are happy to back one of them to win.
Scheffler is a man on a mission in 2024, and he finally broke his winless post-April streak, so he’s the clear tournament favorite.
Morikawa is nearing a major win after going close at The Masters and the PGA Championship, so it’s good to see him include in the big four.
McIlroy and PGA champion Schauffele are natural inclusions, and the +135 odds for one of them to win is good shopping.
It might not be the biggest 2024 PGA U.S. Open props odds you’ll ever see, but we’re confident in its chances of cashing.
Scheffler/Morikawa Top Americans
Scheffler is a +180 favorite to be top American, which is worth including in golf parlays.
However, there is better value with Morikawa at +880. He has been playing excellent golf in 2024 without winning, and it’s only a matter of time before he gets it done.
Competing in the American category means he needs to beat Scheffler, but the odds are too good to pass up.
Scheffler could have a bad tournament, and Morikawa could be there to step up and go close for the home players.
The odds are generous because of the massive number of Americans in the field, but they are above the rest.
Rahm to Sit Out Weekend Play
Bettors get +250 for Rahm to miss the cut, and that’s a good price for the struggling Spaniard.
He missed the cut at the PGA Championship with a dour performance before shooting -3 at Houston last week before pulling out of the tournament.
He cited an injury, and he wanted to rest before the U.S. Open, but the signs aren’t good for the former world number one.
LIV’s most expensive golfer hasn’t won since joining the rebel league, and we can’t put his recent PGA performance out of our minds.
His game looks frazzled, and the injury worry won’t help. We thought he would be much shorter with 2024 PGA U.S. Open props odds, so we’re including him in our selections.
Another player worth backing in miss the cut markets is Min Woo Lee. The Australian hasn’t quite lived up to expectations since arriving on the PGA Tour, and getting +150 is a great price.
