LIV Golf Valderrama Odds: Smith Favored, but Garcia Looming
Smith Boasts Tournament-Favorite Odds of +800

The LIV Golf circuit heads to Real Club Valderrama in Spain this week, where golfers will vie for a $4 million top prize. Valderrama is a renowned course, regarded as one of the best in the world for its challenging track.
A who’s who of big games will take on the 54-hole event, including Cameron Smith, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Spain native Sergio Garcia.
For a closer look at the field, here’s our LIV Golf Valderrama odds breakdown.
THE FAVORITE
Cameron Smith (+800)
Smith played extremely well last season, winning the Tournament of Champions before capturing the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. He then capped it off by taking the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews. But the 29-year-old Aussie hasn’t fared as well since signing with LIV Golf, though he did notch top-10 paydays at both the PGA Championship and U.S. Open.
TOP CONTENDERS
Brooks Koepka (+1000)
Koepka quickly asserted himself on the LIV Golf tour, winning in Jeddah last October. He followed that up with a runner-up finish at the Masters, then broke through with a victory at the PGA Championship. It was his ninth career win on the PGA Tour.
Dustin Johnson (+1200)
Johnson won the LIV Golf Invitational in Boston last September. He then struggled in the year’s first two majors before bouncing back at the U.S. Open, where he finished in a tie for 10th.
Sergio Garcia (+1200)
The Spaniard will look to put on a big performance before the home crowd. Garcia missed the cut at the Masters, then shot 2-over to finish in a tie for 27th at the U.S. Open. Even though the results haven’t necessarily been there, he could be poised for a big week. He’s won three times at Valderrama. It’s no wonder he’s among the LIV Golf Valderrama odds favorites.
Mito Pereira (+1600)
Pereira missed the cut at the U.S. Open, shooting a 3-over 143, but he should climb up the LIV Golf leaderboard if he can master Valderrama’s tight tracks.
Bryson DeChambeau (+1600)
Following back-to-back top-20 paydays, DeChambeau will look to keep the momentum rolling. DeChambeau’s ability to drive the ball is unquestioned, but he may be tested by Valderrama’s small greens and tree-lined fairways.
Joaquin Niemann (+1800)
Niemann hasn’t won since the Genesis Invitational in early 2022. However, with 22 top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, he’s always a threat.
Harold Varner III (+1800)
Varner III secured his first victory on American soil last month, outlasting Braden Grace by one stroke at Trump National Washington D.C.
Talor Gooch (+1800)
The 31-year-old Oklahoman edged Garcia in a playoff to claim victory at LIV Golf Singapore, becoming the first player on the circuit to win back-to-back events.
THE LONGSHOTS
Charles Howell III (+2500)
Howell III doesn’t have the best LIV Golf Valderrama odds, but he’s capable of making a surprise run. His victory in Mexico was his first in more than four years.
Branden Grace (+2500)
Grace should be in the mix if he can recapture the form he displayed at LIV D.C.
