Stop Backing Scheffler! Back Schauffele Instead
2024 Memorial Tournament Odds

Scottie Scheffler is once again the favorite to win a PGA Tour tournament, but we have found value elsewhere.
2024 Memorial Tournament odds have Scheffler at +375 to win his first tournament post-April, but that’s not a risk we’re willing to take.
Xander Schauffele, fresh off a major win, looms as the biggest threat at The Memorial, and he could headline the PGA Tour leaderboard.
Guess Who’s Back? Schauffele’s Back
We haven’t seen nine-time PGA Tour winner Schauffele since he won the PGA Championship at Valhalla, and he earned a few weeks off.
The American scored an overdue major win, and the floodgates could open up for the +700 chance.
Schauffele showed -21 to win, which was a great score when holding off the likes of Bryson Dechambeau, Viktor Hovland, and Collin Morikawa.
It was one of the better golf scores we had seen in some time, and he did well to keep focused throughout the tournament.
“I kept saying all week I just need to stay in my lane,” Schauffele said. “I tried all day to just keep focus.”
There is much better value with Schauffele at +700 than Scheffler at +375. He is playing the best golf of his life, and we can’t turn down his 2024 Memorial Tournament odds.
We Need More Morikawa
Morikawa admitted he’s not playing his best golf, but he’s knocking on the door.
He finished fourth at the Charles Schwab Challenge behind Davis Riley, which followed a T4 finish behind Schauffele at the PGA Championship.
The 27-year-old had a great chance to win the major, but he shot even par on Sunday. He only needed to match the likes of Schauffele, DeChambeau, and Hovland to have a chance at securing his third major.
However, his PGA golf odds are worth entertaining at The Memorial, which is a tournament he should play well in.
Bettors get +1200 for Morikawa, who is on the fourth line of betting. Considering his recent form, he’s not far off a win, and he’s worth backing with confidence.
2024 Memorial Tournament odds also have him at a value price for a top five finish, so include him in all golf picks.
Money Coming for Clark
Wyndham Clark isn’t playing his best golf, but his odds are too good to pass up.
He opened at +4000 before shortening to +3500, so bettors have climbed into the 30-year-old, who won the 2023 U.S. Open.
He missed the cut at the PGA Championship when shooting +4, but he looked much better when finishing T3 at the RBC Heritage behind Scheffler.
His worst golf has come in the bigger tournaments, and The Memorial is a big tournament. However, it’s a confidence thing for Clark.
He has also been battling a back injury, which could explain his recent form. However, he wouldn’t be teeing it up at Muirfield Village Golf Club if he wasn’t 100%.
We expect his odds to continue to firm throughout the week, and the odds make him a worthwhile wager.
J.T. Poston a Win
There is value with J.T. Poston at +10,000, who played well enough two weeks ago to recommend.
The 31-year-old finished T12 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and he would have finished better had it not been for a +1 final round.
He is a two-time PGA Tour winner, and we priced him around +4500, so the odds are far too generous to overlook.
The Wyndham Championship and John Deere Classic winner is due a win after last winning in 2022, and there have been bigger upsets in golf.
