Tiger Tickling Interest at Masters
Can the G.O.A.T Defy Odds at Augusta?

Star Power in Masters 2022 Field
There has been significant interest in the Masters 2022 and whether Tiger Woods will play.
He is scheduled to tee off on Thursday and there have been solid betting moves for the Greatest of All Time, who announced on Tuesday that he intends to play in this year’s event.
However, Woods is not the only star attraction at Augusta as the likes of Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson look to add to their majors tally.
Beware of Determined Tiger
How could we not mention Tiger Woods when it comes to the Masters 2022?
There is a buzz in the golfing community about the return of Woods because we didn’t think we’d see him play professional golf ever again, let alone so soon following a car crash 14 months ago.
For Woods to make his professional return at the Masters is a tremendous occasion, and despite that his chances of winning appearing slim, never rule him out.
He was overlooked for the 2019 Masters and look how that ended up, so there is a case for backing Woods on a sentimental base at worst.
The Masters odds for Woods are currently at +5000, which have steadily firmed since he arrived at Augusta National for a practice round.
Bettors might have lost some value, but Woods is a five-time Masters winner and if he’s anywhere near his best, he’ll give a good showing.
Johnson Overdue
Dustin Johnson is a former Masters winner, and although the victory didn’t come in April, he has experience winning at Augusta.
The American hasn’t played well since losing his No. 1 ranking, but he’s always near the top of the leaderboard at the Masters.
He has recorded a win and five top-10 finishes at the Masters. He has missed the cut twice, including last year, but it came so soon after he won the at Augusta in November 2020 that it could have put him off.
Golf odds have Johnson at +1600 and that’s an excellent price. He plays like he doesn’t have a care in the world, which is often the mindset needed at Augusta.
Every shot has pressure attached to it and Johnson is the right man for the job.
Go High with Lowry
Shane Lowry is the type of golfer who is often underrated, but the Irishman plays his best in the big tournaments.
The 2019 Open Championship winner doesn’t have the best results in the Masters, but his performances have improved over the last two years.
He finished T25 in 2020 and T21 in 2021, so his Masters 2022 chances of figuring in the finish are high.
The 35-year-old is over the odds at +4000. He’s on the same line as the likes of Louis Oosthuizen and Daniel Berger, so we’d prefer to bet on Lowry at the same price.
Lee to Woo Crowds
Min Woo Lee might not be the most talked-about golfer in the world, but the Australian could make his mark.
He is a winner on the DP World Tour, formerly known as the European Tour, and he could be the surprise package at the Masters.
Lee is paying an incredible +27500 to win the major, so bettors don’t require a big wager to cash in.
Of the players paying odds that big, Lee is the guy we want on our ticket.
