US Open Props: Koepka to Lead LIV

Betting Golf Props is $$$, Be in The Know

There is plenty of value to be snapped up with US Open props, and we have picked our best for the third golf major of the year.

The market taking our fancy is top LIV golfer, which is headlined by Brooks Koepka, but he needs to see off the likes of Cameron Smith and Dustin Johnson.

PGA odds are available for a host of prop bets on one of the biggest golf tournaments of the year.

A Safer Bet

Koepka is a +1100 chance to win the U.S. Open, so taking him to beat his fellow LIV players is a safer bet.

He’s a +200 chance to beat a talented group of players, which also includes Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, and Phil Mickelson, so it won’t be an easy feat. However, he’s the class player in the field.

The American could have been any more impressive when winning the PGA Championship, and he’s build for majors success.

He builds his entire year around the four majors, and after finishing second at The Masters and winning the PGA, there is no hotter golfer on the planet.

Being paired with Rory McIlroy in the first round couldn’t have been scripted better, and given their recent form, McIlroy is the one feeling the pressure more.

“I’ve been out here for, what, five years,” Koepka said. “Rory hasn’t won a major since I’ve been on the PGA Tour. So I just don’t view it as a rivalry. I’m not looking at anybody behind me.”

We love the cockiness of Koepka, so include him in your US Open props this week.

Hatton to Start Well

We think Tyrrell Hatton has an excellent chance of winning at Los Angeles Country Club, but it requires a good opening round.

He’s usually near the top of the leaderboard on Thursday, so our US Open props include Hatton scoring a top 20 finish in the opening round.

Leading the market is Scottie Scheffler at +130, which is also a good price, but Hatton pays +250, and there is better value with the Englishman.

He finished T3 at the Canadian Open last week, and the 31-year-old has made a deep run at the U.S. Open in the past.

He finished T6 in 2018 and T21 in 2019, and getting those results requires starting well.

Therefore, include Hatton in your U.S. Open picks. He’s a quality golfer who is good enough to win the event outright.

Svensson Leads Debutantes

Canada’s Adam Svensson has been playing excellent golf in 2023, and he could lead the debutantes at the U.S. Open.

The 29-year-old might have missed the cut at home last week, but he finished T40 at the PGA Championship and T13 at The Players, which proved that he can cut it with the best in the world.

The one-time PGA Tour winner is on the third line of betting at +850, which is a fair price in a wide open market. Cameron Davis leads it at +500, and he has been playing well as well. However, Svensson could continue the fine run for Canada.

Knowing how certain players will handle the pressure is always tough to know. However, his result at The Players is why we’re putting him on top. It showed maturity, and he shouldn’t be phased by Los Angeles Country Club.
