“There will be occasional times when you’re talking to other executives when they’ll ask if you’d consider it,” Atkins said when asked about the possibility of trading first baseman Vlad Guerrero or shortstop Bo Bichette. “Because they are so talented and such great teammates, they are attractive to other MLB teams, so they will call.
“We believe in them. We believe in their futures and hope that there is a way they can play here for a long time.”
Guerrero is hitting .291 this season but has just five home runs in 58 games while Bichette is hitting just .236. That is something to consider when looking at the Orioles vs Blue Jays odds.
