Key MLS Week 12 Matches

After an exciting set of matches and upsets in Week 11, we expect MLS Week 12 to bring even more! This week, there are a lot of lopsided odds, so it’s best to get in on the bets now! For those betting on MLS this week, there are two critical matches every bettor should watch in Week 12.

Here are those two matches, along with our MLS predictions for those matches.

Portland Timbers vs Vancouver Whitecaps @ 7:30 PDT on Saturday

Another Cascadia Cup clash as the Timbers host the Whitecaps, who will seek revenge after losing in their previous battle. The Timbers have looked better as of late, but the Whitecaps are one of the best defensive teams in the league. In a match that can go either way, our money is on the Whitecaps.

LA Galaxy vs San Jose Earthquakes @ 6:30 PDT on Sunday

One of the oldest rivalries in MLS, the California Classico features the LA Galaxy playing host to the San Jose Earthquakes. LA Galaxy has had a rough showing all season but always manages to turn up in rivalry games. However, after a big win against LAFC, the Earthquakes will look to continue their run and challenge for the top spot in the West. Therefore, the best bet will be to go with San Jose on this one.
