Key MLS Week 6 Matches

After an incredible first five weeks, MLS fans are excited about some of the better teams duking it out in MLS week 6. So this week, we’re in the giving mood and giving bettors four key matches to watch in MLS week 6.

New England Revolution (+115) vs NYCFC (+290) @ 4:30 pm PST

Under manager Bruce Arena, the Revolution has been one of the strongest teams in the East. However, they are known to bottle their games as the season progresses. NYCFC was one of the best teams in the league last year and has been okay this season. A draw might be the more likely outcome in this one. And at +235? It would be a safe bet to earn some money.

FC Dallas (-160) vs Portland Timbers (+420) @ 4:30 pm PST

On paper, this is as one-sided as it gets. The Timbers have looked different from the Timbers of old, and FC Dallas is on an upward trajectory that has been a couple of seasons in the making. However, the Timbers have players returning from injury, and their manager Gio Savarese is in the hot seat. Betting on the Timbers at +420 could give a massive payout if they can win.

St. Louis CITY SC (-135) vs Minnesota United (+345) @ 5:30 pm PST

St. Louis CITY has to be the most exciting team in MLS. They came in as the favorites to win the Wooden Spoon, and now people are talking about a playoff run! Realistically, there is no way they can keep this run going. Minnesota has proven to be a strong team since they came into the league. This should be a win for Minnesota; at +345, it is an absolute steal.

Vancouver Whitecaps (+120) vs CF Montreal (+215) @ 7:30 pm PST

The Whitecaps versus Montreal is not the most exciting matchup of the week, but the betting odds are intriguing. The Whitecaps have drawn three out of five matches, with most of them getting a late goal. The odds for a draw sit at +255, and there is a higher chance than not that the match will end that way. Therefore, it’s best to avoid betting on either team but to hope for the draw.
