Larson started and never looked back, leading all but 14 laps of the 100-lap race. He won by a margin of 4.5 seconds over Bubba Wallace, who finished second. Tyler Reddick, Chase Briscoe, and Chase Elliott rounded out the top five.

New Old Track: North Wilkesboro

The track underwent an extensive renovation in preparation for NASCAR’s return, and the drivers were clearly impressed with the new surface. This remarkable event was a highlight of the highly anticipated NASCAR Cup schedule, captivating fans with its nostalgic charm and thrilling on-track action.

“The track was awesome,” Larson said after the race. “It was so much fun to race on. It was definitely a challenge, but it was a lot of fun.”

Larson’s victory was his third All-Star Race win, and it solidified his status as the driver to beat in the NASCAR Cup Series. He is currently ninth in points standings and has won three NASCAR races this season.

The next race on the NASCAR schedule is the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 28 (update: moved to May 29th due to bad weather). Larson will be the favorite to win that race as well.
