Winning Manufacturer

One of the early 2024 Coca-Cola 600 props available now is the make of the winning car. Chevrolet is the favorite. Then there is Toyota and Ford.

  • Chevrolet +130

Seeing Chevrolet as the favorite is now surprise. The race favorite, Kyle Larson, drives a Chevy, and he’s also leading the NASCAR standings. Those taking Chevrolet will also have William Byron and Chase Elliott in their corner.

Those two are among three drivers tied at fourth in the NASCAR betting odds. Just outside the top 10 in betting odds are Kyle Busch and Ross Chastain, so Chevrolet has some formidable drivers.

  • Toyota +160

The second betting choice is Toyota, which makes sense. Denny Hamlin and Tyler Reddick are second and third in betting and it also includes the rest of the Joe Gibbs drivers.

Several others have the chance to surprise with a good finish, although a win might be asking a bit much.

  • Ford +280

Ryan Blaney has the lowest odds of any Ford drivers at +1000, where he’s tied for fourth place. Brad Keselowski isn’t far behind, so it’s possible for Ford, but not likely.

Top Five Finish

One of the 2024 Coca-Cola 600 props that’s typically fun to bet is the top five or top 10 bets, where you can pick a longshot and get fair odds. There are five winners paid on a top-five bet, so naturally, the odds are quite a bit lower than a bet to win.

In NASCAR this weekend, one driver with the possibility of cracking the top five is Ross Chastain at +300. The NASCAR race results show Chastain finished seventh last race and is in 10th place overall.

He might be rounding into form a little bit. At +300, he’s worth a shot to have a strong showing.

He hasn’t finished well at Charlotte, but was impressive in 2022 and also won a NASCAR Trucks Series race there in overtime in 2022. He needs to pick-up the pace a bit and this is an ideal time to start.

Top 10 Finish

Longshots are hard to find when you’re betting on a driver to finish in the top 10. There is one driver in NASCAR this weekend who is going off at decent odds and that’s Bubba Wallace at +175.

For Wallace to finish in the top 10 isn’t out of the question. He’s certainly capable of doing so. He needs to race clean, but doesn’t have to have blistering pace the entire race. Wallace is also capable of crashing out of the race, but at +175 it’s a risk worth taking.
