His pairing with Steven Adams is a formidable one on the defensive end makes them a matchup nightmare for a Bucks team that thrives when being allowed to attack the basket.

The Grizzlies are giving up just 100.9 points per 100 possessions when the duo are on the floor together. The lineup of Morant, Dillon Brooks, John Konchar, Jackson and Adams owns a +22.2 net rating together in 230 possessions, ranking among the best five-man lineups in the league.

It’s been a physically demanding fortnight for Milwaukee who have had to do plenty of travelling while also facing some of the toughest teams in the league.

Morant and Antetokounmpo both remain two of the NBA leading scorers and while both will find ways to be successful against elite defenses the edge will likely go in favor of the hometown hero given Holiday’s absence for Milwaukee.

A win for the Grizzlies will see the stay within touching distance of the top spot in the NBA standings out west. All the matchup advantages seem to show an edge on Memphis and the -1.5 point spread seems very short when you factor in Milwaukee’s recent travel on top of everything else.
