Bulls Set to Beat Up on the Grizzlies

Now that Team LeBron has won the All-Star Game again, it’s time for the real playoff push to begin in the NBA. On Saturday night, the Bulls vs Grizzlies game in what should be a terrific battle.

Memphis has been having a great season, but they are going to be no match for the Bulls in this game. The Grizzlies do some of their best work at home, and they are going to struggle to handle the raucous environment at the Madhouse on Madison.

People just continue doubting the Chicago Bulls, but all this team does is win big games. The Bulls are still buried in the odds for NBA futures bets, but Chicago won’t have any trouble winning this game.

It’s time to start taking this Bulls team seriously, and they are going to prove how great they are once again with this game. Memphis is a solid opponent, but the Grizzlies are going to leave the Windy City with a loss on Saturday night.

The Bulls are still without several key players, and injuries are about the only thing that could ruin their chances of winning this game. Memphis could also light it up to keep the Bulls from winning, but don’t expect that to happen.

When the Chicago Bulls signed DeMar DeRozan this offseason, many NBA “experts” announced that this was a horrible move. Most thought that DeRozan was a poor fit for the Bulls, and many viewed it as a step back for this team.

All DeRozan has done this season is average 28.1 points per game, and he scored at least 35 points in seven straight games entering the All-Star Game. DeRozan might be the MVP of the NBA this season, and his play should cause some of those “experts” to lose their right to talk about the league.

It’s not like DeRozan is a one-man show either, as Zach LaVine has been a superstar when he is on the floor as well. Center Nikola Vucevic often gets overlooked, but he is capable of putting this team on his back as well.

Watching the Bulls is an absolute joy on most nights, but that joy won’t be felt by Grizzlies fans on Saturday night.

At this point, it’s hard to really come up with words to describe what Ja Morant means to the Memphis Grizzlies and to the NBA in general. Morant is scoring over 26 points per game, and he is also able to dish out ten assists at any point.

Memphis has a young nucleus of talent, but Dillon Brooks is currently out of the lineup. Brooks might only be just one player, but that’s a pretty significant loss for this team.

The Grizzlies have to find a way to slow down DeRozan, and that’s going to be the biggest challenge. This Memphis team has also been much worse on the road, and that is going to play a factor in this matchup as well.

Regardless of what plays out on Saturday night, both the Grizzlies and the Bulls have a chance to go on a deep run in the NBA Playoffs. You would have been laughed at if you said that same thing a few months ago, as expectations were low for each time.

Morant is going to do all that he can to keep the Grizzlies in this Bulls vs Grizzlies game, but he can’t do what must be done. The Grizzlies will have no answer for DeRozan, especially in the fourth quarter.

The Bulls are back, and they will take care of business on Saturday night against a surging Grizzlies team.
