Lakers vs Suns Betting Odds: Booker Continues MVP Form
Suns Look to Continue LA Beatdowns

Depleted Lakers Head to Phoenix
The LA Lakers travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns in a game where everything seems to be against them. Here’s a look at our Lakers vs Suns Betting Odds preview for tonight’s showdown.
Devin Booker put on a show in his latest outing as his 58 point effort propelled the Suns to a much-needed win over the New Orleans Pelicans. That said, he has been listed as questionable for tonight’s contest.
Meanwhile, things aren’t looking great for LA either coming into this one. They survived a tough outing at home to Washington but this is the second of a back-to-back where starters played big minutes in the absence of Anthony Davis.
The Suns, despite their injury report, currently sit as 8.5-point home favorites here. The full game total is set at 230.5 points.

Phoenix Suns Look to Pile On
The recent rivalry between these teams means one thing is for certain; the Suns won’t be taking LA lightly regardless of who takes the floor for them.
Phoenix were 10-point winners when these teams met earlier in the NBA season and have now won five straight regular season meetings against the Lakers after completing a four-game sweep against their division rivals last season.
Booker has made a point of showing out against this basketball team at any opportunity and after his scoring explosion last game there’s no reason to think he won’t go off again in this one if he’s available. In his last five meetings with the Lakers, Booker is averaging 26.6 points. The Suns have won those games by an average of 15.6 points, going 5-0 against-the-spread (ATS) in the process.
Deandre Ayton has also popped up as questionable on the official injury report, while Cam Payne, Cam Johnson and Jock Landale are all officially out.
Los Angeles Lakers Guessing Game Continues
The hardest part of this match up is trying to predict what the Lakers look like after the NBA injury report comes out for them.
LeBron James has played over 36 minutes in his last two outings and with this being their third game in four nights it wouldn’t be surprising to see him sit out of this one. Pat Beverley missed last nights game and could again join Anthony Davis on the sidelines for this one.
One of the biggest weaknesses surrounding the Lakers this season is their glaring lack of depth outside Davis and LeBron. If neither is available for this one it’s difficult to see how they stay competitive – regardless of how the Suns ultimately line up.
When LA are without their two All-Stars they own a -14.0 point differential per 100 possessions, which would make them the worst starting lineup in the NBA. For context, the bottom-placed Houston Rockets starting lineup is -10.1 points per 100 possessions on the season.
This game is going to be about who takes the floor for either side. The full game total looks very high considering the offensive talent that might sit this one out and a play on the Under represents the best value available on the board in this one.
