Blowout Wins Across the NBA

Thunder Shock Clippers in Marquee Game
The Oklahoma City Thunder pulled off the only upset on a six-game slate as they downed the LA Clippers 101-100 at Crypto.com Arena. Let’s take a look at our NBA Games Recap Analysis and see how things played out around the league.
The Thunder jumped into the #7 seed in the Western Conference playoff race as they secured their eighth win in their last 10 games. OKC closed as 6.5-point underdogs and improved their league-best ATS record to 43-26-3 (62.3%) on the season.
Kawhi Leonard had a chance to win it for the Clippers on the final possession but he failed to get a shot off on time before the final buzzer as Lu Dort showed off his impressive on-ball defense.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 31 points against his former team, while Paul George was forced from the floor in the second half after sustaining a knee injury. George was later carted out of the arena as the team awaits scans to find out the extent of the injury.
Favorites went a perfect 5-0 ATS in the other remaining games on the night, which was a big change from the NBA Monday Matchups.
One of the favorites to win big were the Boston Celtics as they dealt with the high-flying Sacramento Kings in a 132-109 win.
The Celtics closed as 5.0-point favorites and took advantage of tired legs in the second half as they ran away with the game down the stretch.
The Kings were playing the second of a back-to-back and their fifth game in seven nights. The game went Over the closing total of 238.5 points thanks to 19 points in the final 2:36 of the game.
Hawks, Pelicans Record Huge Wins
The Atlanta Hawks bounced back from their embarrassing road loss with a 129-107 home win over the Detroit Pistons.
The Hawks were 13.5-point favorites despite being without the services of Dejounte Murray in this one and made light work of a Detroit team missing most of its rotation.
Detroit is now 16-26-2 (38.1%) ATS against Eastern Conference opponents this season, losing by an average of 9.8 points.
The New Orleans Pelicans kept their play-in hopes alive with a huge 119-84 win over the depleted San Antonio Spurs.
The Spurs opted to rest bodies on the front end of their back-to-back and the line for this game subsequently blew out to -14.0 points in favor of the home team as a result.
The Pelicans led by double-digits at the end of the first quarter and never looked back as they recorded their biggest win of the calendar year to boost their NBA team ranking profile.
Wizards, Nets Continue Falling
The Washington Wizards dropped their sixth game in their last seven outings as they fell 122-112 at the Orlando Magic.
The Magic returned home from their recent West Coast road trip and didn’t seem to miss a beat as they comfortably dealt with a flailing Wizards team that was without Kyle Kuzma in this one.
Orlando closed as 1.0-point favorites and the win relegates Washington to a 17-25-3 (40.5%) ATS record against conference opponents this season.
The Brooklyn Nets were beaten 115-109 by the Cleveland Cavaliers on their home floor as they drop to just 1.0 games up on the Miami Heat in the race for the #6 seed.
The play-in tournament is looking like a real possibility for the Nets as they continue to tumble following the trade deadline drama that saw them move on from Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. The team has lost four straight games and is 0-4 ATS in that run.
