OKC and Philly
Oklahoma City Thunder– The Thunder were last year’s favorites to win the Las Vegas Summer League, but failed to reach their high expectations. The Thunder are known for developing young talent and taking the Summer League fairly seriously. This season they are opting to not play Cason Wallace or Chet Holmgren, both likely too experienced for Summer League development. Here is the Thunder’s Summer League roster:
Philadelphia 76ers– Like the Thunder, the 76ers will be looking to contend for a championship in 2025. They are less known for developing talent, more often landing big names in NBA free agency. That being said, they are marching out a roster with two draft picks from this season. Here is their Summer League roster:
Grizz and Jazz
Memphis Grizzlies– The Grizzlies have been one of the more exciting young teams in the league but took a step back last season due to star injuries and suspensions. They were rewarded with Zach Eddy as a lottery pick. Their Summer League Roster also contains four players who finished the season with the team last year including GG Jackson and Jake LaRavia. Here is their roster:
The Utah Jazz are the hosts of these games and have a roster loaded with young talent. They will be playing four guys who all played significant minutes for the team last season. Walker Kessler, Keyonte George, Taylor Hendricks, and Brice Sensabaugh will all be looking to make a name for themselves ahead of what will likely be a tanking season for the Jazz. Here is their roster:
