NBA Weekend Matches Scores: Over Bettors Keep Cashing
Road Teams Perform Strong ATS

Things Get Tense Out West
The NBA produced another weekend of high-flying basketball as Over bettors enjoyed another couple nights of point scoring action. Let’s dive into our NBA Weekend Matches Scores to see how things played out for oddsmakers and bettors.
On a 16 game weekend slate the Overs went 10-6 (62.5%) as we were again treated to some fast-paced action in the association. Again, a lot of that came in non-conference action where the Overs went 4-1 (80%).
Road teams also had a strong return over the weekend, going 10-6 (62.5%) ATS. Four of those covers were outright underdog winners, with the Brooklyn Nets being the most impressive in their 122-120 win over the Denver Nuggets.
The Nets closed as 10.0-point underdogs and cashed the +350 Moneyline for bettors in the early tip-off on Sunday. Road underdogs are 48.4% ATS on the season as they etch closer to near even footing after home teams largely dominated the early parts of the season.
Kings Make Statement, Thunder Still Fighting
The Sacramento Kings continue to surge toward an unthinkable division title as they beat the Phoenix Suns 128-119 on the road.
The Suns are in the midst of a logjam of teams vying for home court in the first-round and their upcoming schedule without Kevin Durant is certainly reason for pessimism amongst Suns supporters and bettors hoping they can make a run to close out the regular season.
Sacramento is now 3.5 games up on the Suns as they continue their push for the #2 seed in the Western Conference NBA standings. They are also 10-4 (71.4%) ATS against division opponents, with just two games remaining on their schedule against Pacific division teams.
The Oklahoma City Thunder also making noise as they dismiss suggestions that the team is joining the tank race and foregoing the opportunity to push for a play-in spot.
The Thunder started the weekend with a big 110-96 road win over the New Orleans Pelicans before backing it up with a 102-90 win at the San Antonio Spurs. The team is now just 0.5 games back from the #10 seed as they prepare for non-conference action in their next two games.
The Thunder remain the best ATS team in the NBA, owning a 40-25-3 (61.5%) record. They are the only team sitting above a 60% win rate against the spread this season.
The New Orleans Pelicans did ensure they went at least 1-1 over the weekend, bouncing back from their home defeat to the Thunder by beating the Portland Trail Blazers 127-110.
The Pelicans closed as 3.5-point favorites in this one after Damian Lillard was a late addition to the NBA injury report for the Blazers. The Pelicans are now 7-3 (70%) to the Over after this one comfortably sailed over the closing number of 221.5 points.
Things Heating Up in the East
Things are also getting tense in the East as just 3.0 games separate the #8 seed from the #12 seed as the race for a play-in spot heats up.
Things went well for the Chicago Bulls as they picked up a 119-111 road win over the tanking Houston Rockets. Despite the win the Bulls failed to cover the -8.0 point spread as they now fall to 13-17 (43%) ATS as a market favorite this season.
The Washington Wizards fell back in the mix as they were routed 112-93 at the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers improved to 22-13-1 (62.9%) ATS at home this season – the third best win rate in the league for bettors.
The Atlanta Hawks failed to take advantage of a Miami Heat loss in Orlando as they fell 134-125 at home to the Boston Celtics to remain in the #8 seed. The Hawks closed as 5.0-point underdogs and are now 17-26-1 (39.5%) ATS against Eastern Conference opponents this season.
The Celtics gained some ground on the #1 seed as the Milwaukee Bucks were beaten 125-116 in OT at the Golden State Warriors. Giannis Antetokounmpo missed his third straight game through injury but almost stole a win against one of the best home teams in the league until some late Steph Curry heroics forced the extra period.
That’s all for our NBA Weekend Matches Scores. Be sure to check back tomorrow as we continue to recap the market efficiencies to close out the season.
