Storm in New York for Contender Battle
Storm vs Liberty Betting Lines, Predictions, Props and More

Storm vs Liberty betting lines are Seattle Storm +10 with a total of 170.5. These teams are both expected to be true WNBA title contenders, and we expect a great game on Monday. The Storm are dealing with injury issues at the moment and if star Nneka Ogwumike is unable to play, the Liberty will have a huge advantage at home.
The Storm just got their first win on Sunday, without Ogwumike, against the Washington Mystics, and the Liberty have yet to lose. The Liberty got two of their three wins against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever and got their other win against the Mystics as well.
Right now the Liberty are at the top of the Eastern Conference WNBA standings, the one seed over the Connecticut Sun. The Storm are currently the second to last seed in the Western Conference but are only 1.5 games behind the number one seed Las Vegas Aces.
With the Storm vs Liberty betting lines out we are going to look at the WNBA odds and team matchup history to determine if there are any good bets to make on Monday’s game.

Storm Finally Get a Win
The Storm got their first win on Sunday against the Washington Mystics. The Storm stormed back from a slow start to defeat the Mystics 84-75. Jewell Loyd overcame a slow start and ended with 24 points, while Ezi Magbegor notched a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Down by four points with only eight minutes left in the game, the Storm put together an incredible 20-5 run to close things out. Loyd, Skylar Diggins-Smith, and Victoria Vivians all chipped in big down the stretch for the storm, but free throws were what ultimately sealed the win for Seattle.
Not only was this the first win for the Storm, but they got it done without their best player and leading scorer Nneka Ogwumike, who sat out with an ankle injury. Mercedes Russell stepped up in her place, contributing eight points and a game-high plus-22 rating.
Washington was able to capitalize well on the Storm’s turnovers, getting 26 points off turnovers. However, this wasn’t quite enough to beat Seattle as they attacked the offensive glass getting 21 offensive boards to the Mystics five.
With star Ogwumike questionable for the matchup on Monday, the Storm will once again look to their supporting cast to pick up the slack. Look for Jewell Loyd to put up another big scoring night if Ogwumike is unable to suit up.
Liberty League Leaders
The New York Liberty in their season opener against the Indiana Fever not only secured a convincing 91-80 victory but also drew a sell-out crowd of 17,735, generating over $2 million in ticket revenue, a record high for the league.
Although the attendance and hype behind the game were mostly due to rookie Caitlin Clark and her much-anticipated start in the WNBA, the Liberty came out and took care of business amidst the noise. Breanna Stewart led a balanced attack with 24 points, while the entire starting lineup scored at least two three-pointers. New York’s scorching shooting, particularly from beyond the arc (12-of-18 in the first half), proved insurmountable for Indiana.
The Liberty are now on a three-game winning streak to start the season, and although their competition hasn’t been the toughest, you can only play the opponent in front of you and they have done what they needed to do to win. Now the NY Liberty schedule has another test for them, the Seattle Storm.
Big Spread Ahead
Storm vs Liberty betting lines are Seattle Storm +10 with a total of 170.5. The Storm’s record against the spread mirrors theirs straight up, 1-2. The Liberty on the other hand have won all three of their games but only covered the spread in one. The one game they covered in the spread was under 10 points, and in each double-digit spread, they have had they failed to cover.
These teams faced each other four times last season, and the Liberty won three of the four games. That being said, they were a double-digit favorite in each of the games, and only covered in one of the four games. If this trend continues into this season the line of the Storm +10 seems pretty reasonable.
Tune in Monday to see if the Storm can even up their record at 2-2 or if the Liberty will win and push their winning streak to four in a row.
