Sun looking to Heat Things Up in Minnesota
Suns vs Lynx Odds, Predictions, and More

The Suns vs Lynx odds are here and the WNBA betting lines have the Lynx as -3 favorites at home. The Lynx are -150 favorites to win the game straight up and the Sun are +125 to complete the upset in Minnesota. The total is set at 152.5.
The Lynx are currently in first place in the Western Conference and third place in the WNBA season standings. They are coming off a tough loss to the New York Liberty in their last game, but are 7-3 in their last ten games.
Their 76-67 loss to the Liberty came after having a solid lead in the fourth quarter and going on a long scoreless stretch to end the game. They were outscored 18-8 in the fourth quarter. Napheesa Collier had 15 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and Kayla McBride chipped in 17 points.
Their performances were not enough to overcome the trio of Jonquel Jones (21 points, 12 rebounds), Breanna Stewart (17 points, 17 rebounds) and Sabrina Ionescu (17 points, five rebounds, five assists).
The Sun spent most of the season at the top of the Eastern Conference, but they’ve slipped recently into second place behind the New York Liberty. The Sun are the second seed overall in the WNBA. The Sun are 6-4 in their last 10 games after starting the season 9–0.
The Sun are coming off a solid win against the Phoenix Mercury 83-72. The Sun overcame 21 point games from both Brittney Griner and Kahleah Copper, and 18 points and 10 assists from Natasha Cloud.
Brionna Jones led the Sun in scoring with 18 points and Alyssa Thomas had a 10 point, 12 rebound double-double. The Sun got great bench support from Veronica Burton and Tiffany Mitchell who combined for 20 points.
With the Suns vs Lynx odds close, this game could go either way. We are going to take a look at these team’s last matchup and recent performances to see if we can find some value bets.

The Last Game Was Close
The Lynx and Sun only played each other once so far this season and it was a close one.
Despite trailing by 13 points early, the Sun battled back, led by DeWanna Bonner’s clutch free throws with just 7.4 seconds remaining. Bonner finished with a game-high 20 points, while Brionna Jones and Alyssa Thomas chipped in 19 and 18 points respectively.
For Minnesota, Napheesa Collier was a force with a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds. However, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Sun’s late surge.
The game went down to the wire after Rachel Banham tied it with a three-pointer with 40 seconds left. Both teams traded baskets before Bonner’s free throws sealed the win for Connecticut.
The Sun ended up winning the game 83-82, so the game was headed for the under before things went to extra time.
Collier’s Well Rounded Game
Napheesa Collier is the best player on one of the best teams in the WNBA. Although the MVP race seems wrapped up already with A’ja Wilson as the heavy favorite, Collier currently has the second shortest odds.
Collier is a league leader in both points and rebounds, averaging 20.6 points and 10.4 rebounds. Courtney Williams is usually the distributor for the Lynx, averaging 5.3 assists, but Collier is the one who has been stepping up as of late.
Collier’s assist line is usually sitting at 3.5 assists per game, but she has been going over of late. Collier notched six assists in the last two games, and has gone over in her last three games. Take a look at the Collier assist line for a possible prop bet in Thursday’s game.
Suns vs Lynx Betting Trends
The Suns vs Lynx odds think that the Lynx are headed for revenge from their earlier season matchup. At -3 we believe the WNBA picks and parlays would be a decent bet to have the Lynx covering.
Connecticut has shown mixed results recently. While they’ve been impressive straight up, going 15-4 so far this season, they haven’t been great at covering the spread, going 1-5 in their last six.
Scoring has also been on the low side, with the total going UNDER in most of their recent games, both overall (five of the last seven) and on the road (four of the last five).
The Lynx have won eight out of their last 10 games outright. Interestingly, scoring has dipped recently with totals going UNDER in four of their last six games overall.
This trend holds true for their home games as well, with the under hitting in four of their last five at home. Despite the lower scoring games, Minnesota has managed to stay dominant on their home court, winning all their last five home games.
