They face the challenge of regrouping and securing a win away from home. However, they appear to be showing signs of fatigue compared to the youthful energy of the Thunder.
Doncic is visibly battling an NBA injury, and while he’s putting in a commendable effort, he’s not performing at his usual exceptional level.
He needs to focus on scoring and getting good shots for his supporting cast. He went missing at times in Game 4, and that can’t happen if the Mavericks want to progress to the NBA Western Conference Finals.

The OKC Thunder roster is stacked with young and exciting talent, but Gilgeous-Alexander is their leader despite being only 25 years old.
He’s getting help from the likes of Chet Holmgren, who hasn’t been at his very best, but he made some key shots and blocks in Game 4.
NBA games today are all about the stat line, but Holmgren gives them a sizable presence in the paint, and that’s invaluable.
