Warriors vs Nets Odds: Brooklyn Seeking 7-Straight Wins
Nets Piecing It Together

Warriors Still Searching for Identity
The Golden State Warriors play their second straight game in New York as they head to the Barclays Center to face the surging Brooklyn Nets. Here’s a look at our Warriors vs Nets Odds preview as we analyze this match up.
The Nets look to have finally figured things out since Jacque Vaughn took over, with the team currently riding a six-game win streak into this one. The team looks like one that is ready to cement home court advantage in the east with a top-four finish in the conference.
Things are still very murky for the Warriors. They are 1-2 since losing Steph Curry on this east coast road trip, with their latest effort being a 132-94 blowout at the hands of the New York Knicks.
Brooklyn has opened as 11.5-point home favorites for this one as the Warriors juggle being short handed on the road with no rest.

Durant Ready to Show Out Against Former Team
Kevin Durant has been at his absolute best so far this season as he continues to lead the way for a tem he requested a trade from in the offseason.
With the drama officially behind them and the team finding life under coach Vaughn things have quickly turned to Durant being an MVP candidate for a team that is quickly moving up the standings in the east.
The former Warrior remains among the NBA scoring leaders 2022 with his 30.4 points per game ranking fifth in the league. The absence of Andrew Wiggins for Golden State leaves a huge mismatch on the floor for Durant, who should be able to use his length and size against a Warriors team lacking wing presence.
Over the past month, Durant has helped lead the Nets to the number one rated offense in terms of shot efficiency, while their 118.1 points per 100 possessions also ranks third in the league in that span. While their defense hasn’t been as resolute as it was for a brief period of time their offense has shown itself capable of winning games on its own in certain matchups.
Kerr Ready for Uphill Battle
Warriors coach Steve Kerr has admitted his side faces a tough battle to stay afloat in the coming weeks given the injury situation they find themselves in at the moment.
The teams young core is under increased scrutiny given the expectations of coming off a championship run and that type of pressure is something that is weighing heavily on this group.
In lineups missing Curry and Wiggins the Warriors are currently -8.1 points per 100 possessions on the floor. Their 20.1% turnover rate is the worst in the league by some margin and they are in the 13th percentile for points per possession while also being in the 19th percentile in points per possession allowed on defense.
Slowing down this Brooklyn offense doesn’t look like something that’s on the cards for them in such a tough spot and trying to ignite their offense is a tall ask on the tail end of a six-game east coast rodeo.
If you’re betting on the NBA tonight the strongest look in this game is to keep fading the Warriors on the road. So far this season the team is 4-14 against-the-spread (ATS) on the road, which is the worst betting record in the league away from their home court.
