The 2023 National Championship Game Offers $$$ To be Made

This Monday’s National Championship game between the TCU Horned Frogs and defending champion Georgia Bulldogs are full of betting options other than the side and total. Let’s take a look at some of the top CFP Final Props bets to give some more money-making options. We’ll start our preview with a few NCAAF best players bets that stood out, followed by our thoughts on Georgia and TCU team props.

Player to Score the First Touchdown

Before we get too deep in our CFP Final Props preview, it’s always a good idea to determine what you think will happen in the game. You then have two options, trust your wager and bet props with the team you think will win or cover the game, or go the opposite and use it as a hedging technique. We like TCU to cover so many of these opinions will have that in mind.

Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh is the favorite to score first at +550 while teammate Brock Bowers is a close second at +650. TCU’s Kendre Jordan and Emari Demercado are both +900 for the Frogs. Demercado is the interesting number here after only six touchdowns during the regular NCAAF season but a terrific game against Michigan Wolverines (150 yards) after Kendre Miller went out with a knee injury.

In these games teams usually try to establish secondary players to give them as many options as possible as the game progresses. Don’t forget that Demercado is from Inglewood, so it’s not that far of a reach to think that Sonny Dykes will attempt to put him in the spotlight early. Let’s get some of that +900 with Demercado.

Player to Score Georgia’s First Touchdown

We know that Georgia star running back Kenny McIntosh will be heavily involved in Kirby Smart’s game plan. We think that Smart will go right to his stars early, which means it’s likely that McIntosh is the best way to bet on this prop at +400.

This week, McIntosh accepted an invitation to play in the senior game which is all but saying he will not be returning to Athens next NCAAF season. We couldn’t think of a better way to reward the junior back than by giving him the rock while hopefully cashing our ticket.

Duggan Total Passing Yards

You have to figure that the Horned Frogs will not run all over one of the nation’s top defenses, so in order to win our Frogs plus the points wager, we know Duggan will have to do what he’s done all season long and win games with his arm and legs.

‘Take that out and he averaged over 270 yards per game. With the total at 235.5, we think that he’ll easily clear the number whether it’s because the Frogs are finding success or they have to play catch-up.’

The Heisman Trophy runner-up averaged over 250 yards passing in his 14 games, (week one against Colorado) he played but didn’t start. Take that out and he averaged over 270 yards per game. With the total at 235.5, we think that he’ll easily clear the number whether it’s because the Frogs are finding success or they have to play catch-up.

Race to 40

Let’s throw out what we just saw against Michigan when the Wolverines put up 45 against the Frogs. The only other time TCU gave up 40 points was against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and that needed overtime to get there. Georgia waited until the playoff game against the Ohio State Buckeyes to give up their own 40 spot.

Expect both teams to come back to who they are defensively making the ‘neither’ option at -115 an attractive team prop. This selection is our top CFP Final Props.

We know that making your typical College Football lines wagers is what most of the country Bets on NCAAF, but these are a few prop bets to have fun with while we watch the frogs cover that big number.
