Once again, there could be some rather entertaining affairs for teams who don’t play in any of the Power-5 conferences. The college football week 10 odds list the visiting teams as the favorites in four of the top six games involving the Group of Five and Independents.
Buffalo can take a major step toward a division title with a win on Tuesday when the Bulls face Ohio.
There are a pair of intriguing matchups in the American Athletic Conference with the always entertaining Houston-Southern Methodist showdown as well as UCF is trying to build off last week’s huge win over Cincinnati.
When looking at the NCAA football schedule, FBS Independents Notre Dame and Liberty will meet up with Clemson and Arkansas as each tries to add wins over teams from Power-5 conferences to their resume.

Buffalo Bulls at Ohio Bobcats

Continuing Our College Football Week 10 Odds Preview: First place in the Mid-Americans’ East Division is at stake when Ohio (5-3, 3-1) plays host to division-leading Buffalo (5-3, 4-0).
In the wide-open MAC, the Bulls and Bobcats are two of the four teams that have allowed less than 100 points in conference play.
Ohio is second in the MAC in total offense, but is last in total defense.
Quarterbacks Kurtis Rourke of Ohio and Cole Snyder of Buffalo have combined for 28 touchdown passes and eight interceptions.
Something to consider when looking at the College Football Week 10 betting odds, The home team has won 10 of the last 11 games in this series with three of the last four games being decided by seven points or less.

UCF Knights at Memphis Tigers

UCF (6-2, 3-1) is coming off a huge win as the Knights handed Cincinnati its first conference loss since 2019 in a game that certainly impacted the NCAA conference odds. Now they head to face a 4-4 Memphis team looking to snap a three-game losing streak. The losses to Houston, East Carolina and Tulane were by a total of 13 points.
Two of the top three rushing defenses in the American Athletic Conference will be squaring off.
Memphis quarterback Seth Henigan missed last year’s game against UCF. He has thrown four interceptions over the last two games.
UCF quarterback Mikey Keene completed 15 of 21 passes in his 2022 season debut.
UCF has won 13 of the last 14 games between the team. Memphis has covered against the college football betting lines in four of the last eight contests.
Houston Cougars at SMU Mustangs

This game is flying a bit under the radar compared the last year as the teams have combined for three losses in the American Athletic Conference. The College Football Week 10 betting odds list the Mustangs as the slight favorites.
SMU (4-4, 2-2) has been dealing with injuries at the quarterback position. Tanner Mordecai missed last week’s win over Tulsa while there are reports that Preston Stone could miss the rest of the season. Clayton Tune has thrown for 2,208 yards with 21 TDs and four interceptions for Houston (5-3, 3-1).
Two of three AAC players with at least 60 catches figure to have key roles in this game. SMU’s Rashee Rice has 62 catches for a conference-leading 982 yards. Houston’s Nathaniel Dell leads the conference with 10 TD catches.
Those who bet online might be surprised to lead that just three of the last eight games between the Cougars and Mustangs have finished over the total.
UTSA Roadrunners at UAB Blazers

It will be strength against strength with Conference USA-leading UTSA (6-2, 4-0) tied for the lead in scoring offense while UAB (4-4, 2-3) has the top-scoring defense in the conference.
Noah Wilder leads UAB with 75 tackles. He could see plenty of UTSA running back Brenden Brady who is coming off a season-high 112 rushing yards with two TD runs.
UAB had won four games in a row in this series before the Roadrunners emerged with a 34-31 win a season ago when listed by the sportsbook at a 3.5-point favorite.
Liberty Flames at Arkansas Razorbacks

Liberty (7-1) is coming off an impressive win over Brigham Young with Johnathan Bennett completing 24 of 29 passes for 247 yards and two touchdown passes. He added 46 rushing yards.
The Liberty defense held BYU to 71 rushing yards.
Since missing the game against Mississippi State, Arkansas quarterback K.J. Jefferson has thrown for 601 yards with six TD passes and no interceptions to go with 57 yards on the ground.
Liberty has to slow down the Arkansas duo of Drew Sanders and Jordan Domineck as they have combined for 12 sacks.
Liberty has lost its two previous games against SEC teams and have been outscored 80-14.
Clemson Tigers at Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Concluding Our College Football Week 10 Odds Preview: When the game was scheduled, it figured to have serious College Football Playoff implications. It still does, but only for the visiting Tigers.
Clemson has been living dangerously with wins by six points against Florida State and Syracuse. The Tigers are coming off a bye week, so perhaps that will help solve the issues with the passing game.
Notre Dame is coming off a win over Syracuse and is 2-0 against ACC teams this season.
Audric Estime ran for 146 yards and a pair of scores in the Syracuse game.
Clemson has won three of the last matchups with Notre Dame. The last meeting came in the 2020 ACC title game when Notre Dame spent the season as an ACC member. Clemson won 34-10 while listed as a 10.5-point favorite.
