There are compelling SEC games that don’t include either Alabama or Georgia. Arkansas is going after a 4-0 start while the head-scratching loss to Appalachian State doesn’t impact the SEC title hopes for Texas A&M.

The Texas A&M vs Arkansas betting odds favor the Aggies as the teams will meet in the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

Arkansas leads the SEC in rushing defense (allowing 68 yards per game) and is second in rushing offense  (237 yards per contest). Texas A&M is second in passing defense and passing efficiency defense, so this could be quite the physical affair.

Texas A&M (+3300) is third in the odds to win the SEC title followed by Arkansas at +6600.

The Aggies come in at +12500 and Arkansas at +20000 in the odds to win the national title.

Arkansas remained 10th in the Associated Press poll and went from 11th to 10th in the American Football Coaches Association rankings. Texas A&M moved up two spots to 20th in the coaches poll and moved up a spot to 23rd in the AP poll.

Arkansas can pile up the yards while giving them back almost as quickly.

Quarterback KJ Jefferson can make plays with his arm (770 passing yards while completing 70.5% of his passes with six TDs and one interception) and his legs (169 yards, three scores). Toledo transfer Matt Landers leads the Razorbacks with 14 catches and 211 yards.

The running game is in great shape with sophomore Raheim Sanders rushing for 440 yards and averaging nearly 15 yards on eight receptions. Still, the Arkansas vs Texas A&M odds favor the Aggies.

Drew Sanders (five sacks) leads a defense than has 17 sacks and 26 tackles for loss.

The total has gone over in four of Arkansas’ last six games.

The defense has been doing the heavy lifting in the early portion of the season for Texas A&M football news.

The Aggies are in the top 10 nationally in scoring defense, allowing 8.7 points per game. A key has been the Aggies limiting opponents to two touchdowns in nine trips to the red zone. For Arkansas College Football injury news, running back Dominique Johnson (knee), quarterback Kade Renfro (knee) and receiver Isaiah Sategna are questionable while defensive back Jalen Catalon (shoulder) is out for the season.

Texas A&M defensive backs Smoke Bouie and Denver Harris, receivers Evan Stewart and Chris Marshall and defensive lineman Walter Nolen are questionable. Linebacker Andrew White is out.
