2024 Drake London Season Odds
Falcons WR poised for breakout year with NFC South favorite in 2024
Perhaps no NFL player’s stock rose more this offseason than Drake London’s.
The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver appears poised to break out in 2024 after Atlanta finally got its 2022 first-round pick, not one, but two competent quarterbacks when it signed Kirk Cousins and drafted Michael Penix in the first round with the eighth overall selection.
London projects to be the WR1 for the NFC South favorites, which should be a prime role especially with Zac Robinson, the Los Angeles Rams passing-game coordinator, in his first year as Falcons offensive coordinator.
Here’s a look at the 2024 Drake London season odds .
2023 Recap
London led the Falcons in both targets (110), catches (69) and receiving yards (905), despite Atlanta’s underwhelming 7-10 record and the fact he only found the end zone twice last season.
London’s lack of production was almost 100% a failure of Atlanta’s quarterbacks, mainly Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke, who combined for 17 touchdowns and 16 interceptions while starting all 17 games last season. Atlanta was 22nd in passing-yards per game (207.2) and 26th in passing touchdowns last season.
London has just six scores in his previous two seasons as Atlanta’s top receiver and has not consistently been able to use his 6-4 frame to leap over defenders for 50-50 balls.
Still, the 2024 Drake London season odds are conducive to him doing so in 2024.
Drake London 2024 season odds
London has just 1,771 yards in his first two seasons and set a career high of receiving yards last year, but his 2024 NFL season player props are heavily inflated with Cousins poised to call the signals.
Vegas believes London is poised to break out, since it listed his Over/Under for receiving yards at 1,000.5 with -125 odds. London hasn’t surpassed five touchdowns in a season, but his odds to do so are -350, which carries a 77.8% chances.
His Over/Under for TDs is 6.5, with the Over carrying enticing Even-money odds, and London’s totals number for receptions is 81.5. Each number would be a career high for the third-year USC product.
Expectations are raised not only for London. The Falcons haven’t won more than seven games since they chose the USC product in the 2022 draft, but they now rank as the favorites to win the NFC South (-120) and have the sixth-shortest odds to represent the NFC in Super Bowl LIX, tied for the 13th-shortest NFL Super Bowl odds .
London Calling
The NFC South is wide open, especially when you consider the Buccaneers are the three-time reigning champs yet now have the second-longest odds to win the division.
But even with solid QB play and the potential for pass-heavy game scripts, London may not surpass his player prop NFL odds this week or every week.
Bijan Robinson will shoulder much of the offensive load on early downs and ranked No. 2 on the team in receptions in 2023. Plus, No. 2 wideout Darnell Mooney and fourth-year tight end Kyle Pitts also aim to take the onus off London, who has maintained a double-digit advantage in catches in each of his first two NFL seasons.
Still, Cousins ranked fourth in the NFL in both completions and attempts in 2022, his last full season in the league, and was on his way to being an NFL MVP candidate until he sustained an Achilles tendon injury midway through 2023.
All that should mean a ton of targets for London and a far-superior production output during the 2024 NFL season.
